Under renovation

Pros: Location is convenient and the staff is helpful.
Location: Not far from the airport.
Some floors are currently under renovation. There was construction noise from 8am to 5pm, which could wake up you in the morning. Water from the bathroom taps is yellowish...hotel staff said it's because of the construction work. In addition, the teapot for making hot beverages is not clean. I was not comfortable of using it. Overall, the hotel is not good to stay during renovation which will last till July according to the staff. I think the hotel should offer discounts during the renovation period.

Great value for the exceptional service & quality

I was at a conference in a nearby hotel and I chose to stay at the Kempinski because it looked like a better value than the other hotel. I was blown away with the customer service at this hotel! I travel extensively throughout Asia and this has to be one of the best hotels for price, service and a room quality. When I left the hotel, some packages did not reach the hotel for me before I had to depart. They promptly sent all packages to the next city that I was staying at. They have 5 ladies dressed in red dresses that speak English perfectly and give service second to none! I am very very impressed with this hotel and will 100% stay here each time that I am in the Beijing.

Room size is quite small compare to other 5 stars hotel. Bathroom smelly and cabinet broken. Gym on top floor is very small. This was my first time stay and would never again

About seven years ago, I had a number of short stays in the hotel. I returned to this hotel this time to recollect the good memories of the hotel. However, I found the hotel services were not as good as in those days.

Great hotel value and location
