Free Upgrade to Super Vip King Size Room
I purchased the deluxe king size bed room, however, when I checked in, I was told that all the deluxe King size room was taken. The manager asked whether can I top up xx per night to upgrade to a super vip king size room. I rejected because I will have difficulties explaining to my boss about the extra cost. During my stay, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The room to me was a nice size considering I'm the only one in it. I love bed that was hard, and this is the only hotel that uses hard bed. I was told later when I checked out that the manager who served me during my checked in, did a free upgrade to the super vip King size room for me. Overall the staff were friendly, except for 1 or 2 who doesn't have a lot of smiles. I got a feeling they are just temp staff that the hotel hired. The nearest plaza will be Wanda plaza, which will take 20 mins by foot. There are some small stalls surrounding the hotel, so if you are lazy to walk to wanada plaza, can have quick dinner or buy some snacks at those surrounding stalls.

The service is good, even though the staff didn't understand English, they tried their best to help us. It was bit difficult to communicate with the reception, but they tried hard to help us. They have arranged our breakfast for take away, as we have to leave our hotel early in the morning around 6am. Over all fantastic experience.

Wonderful Staff
The staff is great! The carpet in our room was significantly stained. Nice size king bed that doesn’t let you forget you’re traveling in an Asian country. They are quite HARD if you are used to beds in North America or Europe

Comfortable staying
Comfortable staying with a broad variety of connected hotel activities including swimming, bowling, tennis, gym and pingis. Nice, clean and large room. Friendly staff although not everyone comfortable with English, but they always phoned someone who was that came and helped. Have also an airport shuttle bus nearby. A bit far from all typical tourist sights but nearby a subway on the red line.

Comfortable stay
Nice hotel with an impressive gym, swimming, bowling, tennis and pingis area connected. Our room was large and overall very clean although it smelled liked someone before had smoked marijuana in the room. Not many of the staff are comfortable with english but they are on the other hand quick to call for someone who is. The hotel is quite close to a subway station but the station itself is very far from most tourist attractions.

The stuff are very friendly. The hotel rooms are very clean. I really enjoyed talking with the cleaning lady while she tidied up the room. Mom enjoyed the bath tab every night. The best time to use the swimming pool is in the afternoon at about 3, at lease use my own visit to avoid the crowd. The sauna opens at 9 am. Over all it was a wonderful stay here. Highly recommended!

Good place but a bit too far away from tourist att
The Wanshang is in easy walking distance to the subway, shopping centre and some excellent places to eat. Most of the staff at the Wanshang could not understand or speak English wjich made it difficult to even get an extra towel but we muddled through. The fitness centre was great but there were no towels or water provided.

Great value of a hotel in quiet surroundings
Very fine hotel for the money. Spacious room and clean bathroom and carpets. Good choices of local eateries. Checkout was efficient. It is far from the city center though. But the subway station is not far, about a 12-minute walk.No big deal for me. All in all, very satisfied.

Great hotel
Grear stay in a very nice hotel. The only inconvenient is that the hotel is a little bit far away of everything and around 15 min walk of the subway. Moreover not everyone speak English at the reception but most of the staff is nice and friendly. We got un upgrade with a beautiful quiet room. We enjoy our stay there

horrible service, no english, no internet, no gym
The hotel was really hard to find, way outside the main part of town, in the middle of nowhere. the staff barely spoke English. taken to the cleaners by staff via kickbacks on tours. bed was horribly hard, and lacked sheets...just a duvet. wifi was a joke. no wireless internet access in the room which made it impossible to check the internet because my computer did not have a port for actual wired internet. the only option for coffee in the morning or any time was the hugely overpriced breakfast. Hated it and would never stay there again.

Good, but empty
Kind of strange how big of a hotel it is and how few people seemed to be staying there. Also seemed like there was never anyone in the hotel restaurants. Other than the room not being clean when I checked in, the room was quite good. If you are going to Beijing to sightsee its a little far away from everything, but if you're patient you can take the short walk to the subway station and take that to just about any part of Beijing. The staff was good, many were proficient in English. Some were better than others, but on two occasions one of the staff members did a serious amount of research for us based on questions we had about sightseeing things. After asking about how to get to the great wall, we got a 4 page personalized printed report explaining all of our options. If i was going back to Beijing i'd definitely consider staying again, but I might opt for something closer to the city center.

The only thing that was an issue was the shower head leaked in my ensuite. However there were two showers so it didn't really cause an issue. Otherwise, the standard of the hotel was excellent and well recommended.

We had rather nice staying there,
We had rather nice staying there, the swiming pool and gym were very nice, although it was strange that all had to wear swiming cap when swiming. The stuff were very nice too and the room was very clean. we did not try their restaurant though as the restaurants were always kind of empty. But it was very nice stay there and we would recommande it to other people to stay there.

Above average stay!
I was a bit surprised by the 3000 RMB security deposit that was required at check-in, but other than that everything during my stay was way above average. I will certainly choose this hotel again the next time I stay in Haidian.

Comfortable rooms, good price
Located West of the city center (though right on a subway line that leads directly downtown) this hotel was the right one for the price. The gym attached is one of the biggest I have seen and is often used by basketball team members as it is near the Olympic basketball complex. The restaurants should be avoided as they are slow (45+ minutes for a burger), poorly decorated and less than average food. The front desk staff was very helpful in calling taxis and writing addresses in Chinese (as none of the taxi drivers speak any English).

Great hotel highly recommended
This hotel is a great place for everyone traveling to Beijing. Located near the Bajiao Amusement Park subway station, perhaps eight minutes walk, and near shops and KFC, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. There is also a large swimming pool, with two pools, one for real swimming and one for relaxing in warm water, and there is a huge fitness center. All of them are free for hotel guests. Also free is Internet, for which there is a network cable in the room, no wireless. Hotel personnel is very friendly and helps with everything. They speak excellent English. The room is nicely furnished and has free water, tea and coffee. There was also a huge flat screen TV and a huge selection of TV stations, including English language ones such as HBO and CNN. We also had a great view to a park, which is behind the hotel and can be used for relaxation because there are also few people there.

近くにスーパーの入っているワンダ百貨店があり、買い物、食事 にも便利。 ホテルと同じブロックにもローカルのレストラン数軒ありよい立地。 浴槽脚を延ばせて心地よく、シャワールームに滑り止めマットがあったことも よいポイントでした。 ただ、なぜか部屋の電気が突然消えることが不定期に起きた。
