The service attitude is very good, the safety is good, and the supporting facilities on the side are complete. The shortcoming is that the internal facilities of the room are a little bit old. Additionally, the hygiene needs to be improved a bit more.

The receptionist told me that there is no service free of charge at this hotel. Even though I stayed at hotel for a week, I still needed to pay in order to sit (use their chairs or couches) in the lobby while waiting for taxis. It is so ridiculous. They were very rude. I would never go back.

Their staff is beyond rude as they ignore customer. I waited 30min just for check in and they didn’t even say Thank you for waiting. They are so two-sided with how they treat Chinese and foreigners. They are much politer with the foreigners and almost using an attitude of command to Chinese customers. DO NOT STAY THERE IF YOU ARE FROM CHINA. They sick beyond words.

The team here are very welcoming and thats the main reason to stay here. The rooms are Super comfortable, clean and well kept. The Japanese restaurant is new and is pretty unique in it’s creations. A short walk away is the metro station while taxis are always available. Nearby, shops, restaurants will provide you the necessities you need.

A pleasant stay
It was a pleasant stay. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The location was great, subway station was nearby, and lots of restaurants are within walking distances. However, the WIFI was incredibly slow.

Your comments concerning the air conditioning has been received. I'm glad to advise that the hotel cooling system stops from 1st Oct but an electric fan can be provided to our customer by Housekeeping. Also we'd like you know that as Beijing government requires no smoking is allowen in any public areas. We have shared your feedback with the hotel management team. hotel staffs need more training, especially these working at front desk, bar and breakfast room. overall hardware is quite okay but service is two levels lower than hotel star status.

Overall the location was great for my purpose. The WiFi was a little sporadic in performance. The hotel offered good selections of items for breakfast and dinner.

Would stay again
Great hotel. I would give it 5 stars like it's a Western-styled hotel. It's near convenience stores and the subway. The staff speak fluent English, and are helpful and accommodating. I would stay here again. Take line 10 Zhichunlu, exit F. Walk straight for 300 meters, and the hotel will be on your left.

Great hotel for good price
A great hotel for a good price. Upon arriving I was warmly greeted, check in was a breeze, they took my bags to my room and were very helpful. Peter the concierge was very helpful and went of his way to answer my many questions about translating addresses for taxi drivers etc. There is a 7eleven, Pizza Hut and KFC within 5mins walk. There are also a range of Asian restaurants within 5mins walk. The hotel also has its own restaurants and bar. The room was clean, quiet, comfy bed. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of both western and Asian options. The hotel can also arrange tours for you with a return ride to the hotel. I went to the Great Wall which included a return trip, English tour guide, lunch and entry for 400rmb. I would definatly stay here again.

Convenient for business in the area
Walking distance to subway and there were alot of food options in the area as it was near the universities. Be warned that if you're coming by subway with a big suitcase, it is a trek getting up the subway stairs. It is well connected by subway but a bit of a trek on the subway if you're planning to use it for the main tourist places.

One of the most rude front desk staff I have encountered. I had a confirmed King bed room but when I arrived they said they had only a double bed room. I showed them my reservation and they said I needed to take that up with Hotels.com (Expedia). I also offered to pay extra to get a King room. I thought it was a language issue so I asked for a manager but he was equally or even more dismissive. Since I had prepaid, there was nothing I could do. Another issue is that the lobby seating area is a restaurant so unless you are willing to buy something there is NO SEATING AREA IN THE LOBBY! I have been to over 1000 hotels in my life, never seen anything like this! I would say the cleaning staff and restaurant staff is quite good. Also the restaurants I tried (Four Season, Cafe 20 Five and the lobby bar) food is very good and reasonable priced. That is good because there doesn't seem to be anything within the walking distance of the hotel. Bad location for the hotel (50 Kms from the city center) but no upside.

Great Hotel for a good price at Expedia
Excellent Hotel. Far away from the tourist places, but Taxis in Beijing are pretty cheap. Worth the Experience. Very responsive reception. Everyone speaks English at the Hotel. The guy at the concierge of the Hotel, in particular, was extremely helpful in suggesting what to do and what not to do in Beijing. A great stay.

Room way too warm but nothing could be done
This is probably the third time I went to this hotel. Previous times was OK, but this time there were a few things that did not go quite right. First, it took a while to register. Line of people, employees standing idly by waiting for something to happen. Process took forever. A more empowered desk people and streamlined registration process is very much required. Checkout process was similarly haphazard and lengthy. Received due apologies, employee even held the elevator door for me. So, that type of thing, I can get over. Less forgettable is the temperature inside the room. Obviously, spring was in full bloom in Beijing, but then it was not exactly hot - always 5-12 degrees. Inside the room? 27-29 degrees. Air conditioning not working, only blows hot air. Closed it, opened window, to no effect (only opens an inch). Called front desk, was explained that unfortunately there was nothing to be done except to deliver a fan. Put the fan on the window - still never reduced the temperature under 27 degrees, even in the middle of the night. I am sure this hotel is better during the summer. But because of this, I cannot afford to go there during any other time. I mean, this is supposed to be a four star hotel, but instead I got a sauna. This should have been handled differently. At least, you stand warned, apparently if it is hot in your room there is nothing to be done.

Few foreigners seem to stay in Haidan part of Beijing so the hotel seems to cater mainly to Chinese clientele. It is located in the educational and technological hub of the city so is heavily populated by students and affordable eating places. It is close to the subway and taxis are affordable so it is easy to get around. Day tours leave from the hotel but because of the location may require an extra early pick-up.

Decent hotel for business
The hotel is nice - big lobby, several conference halls and restaurants. The room was spacious though it looked cheap with old chipboard wardrobes. Room service and staff were nice.

Lovely nice hotel
Stayed here for work while over. This is a really nice hotel, breakfast is great, both western stuff and Chinese stuff. Many people working at the hotel can do a little bit of English to get by. There's always taxis outside and if you're up for it it's 5 min walk from the metro station. Room very clean and nice, and a clean modern design.

I have stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and I am very happy about the hotel. I booked the hotel with a good rate via Expedia. There was no problem for me to check in. The staff at the front desk are very helpful. They gave me an upgrade because there was no room with two beds left as I booked. The location of the hotel is great, which is within 5 minute walk from the subway. There are many restaurants around the hotel area though the variety of restaurants could be better. The room is clean and quite. The location of the hotel marked at the Expedia was not accurate. It is located at the NE corner of the intersection, close by the southern gate of the university and the F exit of the subway.

Tobacco ashtray smelly hotel everywhere
Awful hotel. Tobacco smell every where, like sleeping on top of an ashtray. No air conditioning (stopped due to some government regulations was the excuse). We changed to another hotel that had working air conditioning, which proof park plaza to be lying. Dinner buffet overpriced for ending up eating white rice... Breakfast not extraordinary at all. Service was awful too. I would never recommend this hotel.

BEWARE CREDIT CARD CHARGES
Facility is OK but service is not up to expectations. Can't follow simple instructions, even when told to them in perfect Chinese. If you pay by credit card when checking out, make sure you check they do not charge you in your own foreign currency as the exchange rate is worse - but means the hotel gets more out of you. Writing to them to complain is futile, they don't bother to reply.
