5 Star for Service - 4 Stars for Facilities

The St. Regis in Beijing is disappointing if compared to others such as in Miami or Mexico City. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. There is no shower and only a tub. The Shangri-la gets you more room for your dollar.

洗練された都会のホテル

Pros: バトラーサービスは、無料でコーヒーや紅茶をいつでもリクエストできるので便利。 浴室の掃除が行き届いていて、タオルの数も多く清潔。アメニティの補充もきちんとしている。 天宝閣の中華は、私は北京で一番おいしいと思う。滞在中に他の有名ホテルの中華に言ったが、あまり口には合わなかった。
Cons: できれば、コンシェルジュやバトラーの英語がもう少し流暢だとありがたい。また、雑技などの時間や場所を聞いたが、多くの情報を持っておらず、もっと勉強してもらいたい。ビジネス客が多く、観光のことを聞く客が少ないのであろうか?
Location: 地下鉄の建国門に近い。現在、北京は流しのタクシーは少なく、渋滞も多いので地下鉄での移動が便利であるが、地下鉄を2路線利用できるので、どこにでも行きやすい。
落ち着いて優雅な雰囲気のホテル。北京に滞在するときはほとんどセントレジスを利用。昼間は多くの人がコーヒーラウンジを利用しているが、大きな話声は聞こえず、ロビーが落ち着いている。いつもながらロビーに使っているフレグランスが良い。スタッフも対応が丁寧。以前と比べると廊下ですれ違ってもにこやかに挨拶されるようになった。中国では珍しく、気持がよかった。値段も高いが、北京で一番好きなホテルである。

Convenient location to the silk market.

Pros: It is very pretty and has a variety of restaurants to choose from. It is conveniently located.
Cons: The service. I was surprised how poor it was given that the St. Regis is supposed to be known for impeccable service.
Location: Shopping.
We stayed there over New Year's Eve. It's very pretty, but the service was disappointing. We were given 2 different room types on 3 different floors, even though the hotel was nowhere near full. The special touches (folddown service in the evening, treats on the pillow, doorman service when you come in or go out, prompt service in restaurants) were lacking, which was a surprise given the reputation of the hotel. I paid more for these rooms than at a comparable hotel in Beijing where the service was much better, the rooms were larger, and we were all together.

Nice stay

Pros: Location was close to what we needed.
Location: We wanted to be near the Silk Market as my daughter wanted to shop during the one night we were in town. The hotel was conveniently located for this.
The hotel is well located, if you want to go to the Silk Market. Otherwise, we found the hotel to be a little old and run-down. Nonetheless, we had one night in Beijing and the hotel suited our needs.

Immaculate hotel!

Just my kind of hotel

If there's another luxury hotel that I would like to stay in for my next holiday, it would be at St. Regis. I appreciated the mini clothes dryer that they have in the changing room area after I had a swim. I also loved the fact that the room provided an iPhone compatible speaker so I was able to play my jazz christmas music which made my stay so memorable. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there.

Cons: Breakfast was great - but very pricy
Hotel was great. Rooms are small, but well equiped and comfortable. Right downtown within walking distance of subway and Silk Market.
