We were surprised at how spacious the room was. Nice view from the room, very friendly housekeeper. The surrounding area had all you need: public transportation, food, shopping etc… we will definitely come back again next time visiting Beijing.

This hotel is right in front of the metro, which makes me very easy to get anywhere in Beijing. Room was very clean and spacious. The only cons is that you need to understand chinese to have any information from hotel.

In need of an update
I have stayed here several times the past two years. The location has little nearby but the Line 10 subway is a few minutes walk. The biggest issues were with the room itself. The heating seemed to be permanently on. My room was often 28C throughout the night. Additionally one morning there was no hot water, only ice cold from the shower and tub. A colleague also staying confirmed the cold water in her room as well.

The property is very nice, is close to a subway stop, and within a few blocks there are several restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. The gym was very limited and has limited hours. It would be great if they opened earlier to get a workout in prior to early morning meetings, but it opens at 7am, which is a bit late. It would be nice if the hotel had a real bar, they have a room on the first level that serves as a bar, but it is not the same. Trying to find out where to get a drink in this hotel is quite difficult. Check-in was unnecessarily difficult and many staff have limited English speaking skills.

Nice hotel with above average facilities, We booked an Executive Room which had bedroom with king bed and lounge room and a bar area. The ensuite was very nice. Included continental breakfast was excellent. The hotel is close to Beijing University otherwise it is far away from city centre and restaurants. The biggest problem we had is very few staff spoke basic English in the hotel including any taxi/uber drivers as you had to use them to do anything. Lack of English skills was evident across China and Hong Kong. If you willing to compromise the distance from city it offers good value for money.

It was a very good hotel close to the universities. Service and facilities were above average for this type of international hotel. What would appreciate something we experienced throughout China that very few people speak basic English to communicate particularly in international hotel or drivers of hotel booked cars. This needs to be addressed if China wants to provide true high quality holiday experience for international tourist.

Very nice hotel and well kept up with very friendly staff. Location right a Beihang University and very close to train station is also great. Several items were a bit disappointing: a) the gym, fitness center only opens a noon. I prefer exercising in the morning so this did not suit me. For a hotel of the caliber the mini-bar was rather poorly stocked, only two software drinks and a wine. Likewise I expected more choices from the Executive Lounge, which offers only coffee and tea during the day. Other drinks are available during happy hour in the evening although no alcoholic drinks, which is hard to understand. The happy hour food was indeed very nice. Aside from this, highly recommendable, rooms are nice and well equipped and great breakfast buffet.

Convenient Beihang university campus hotel
The hotel is conveniently located on the Beihang university campus. The rooms are clean, well equipped and sound proof. The breakfast buffet was good, offering both local and western options and the hotel staff was attentive. Staff speak enough English to get by for guests who don’t speak Chinese. The hotel is in walking distance from a metro station.

This is a very nice, top quality hotel and the staff is responsive. I would like to see more "English speaking" staff and need a few more "English" channels on their TV. Lastly, opening hours of a gym should be 5A or 6A not 12P. I hope that one gets addressed soon...because I will be back!

New hotel. Great service. Good location in Haidian
Very new hotel. Most guests are for business in Haidian district, so there is no running kids or yelling parents. Service is great. Only drawback is one small panel fell from the wall. It didn't cause any big damage, just leg bruises. It could be the issue of the construction company.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. There was no room description on the orbitz description, but we assumed that there would be multiple beds as it was a room booked for 4 people and the pictures indicated 2 beds. Of course when we arrived, there was one bed and a sofa. We asked about rooms with two beds and the hotel staff did not accommodate us. We asked for an additional mattress and they wanted to charge us. Finally, they provided a baby bed for our infant son, but the process was long and unnecessarily complicated. My wife is Chinese so it was not a communication issue, they were simply uninterested in providing a room that would logically accommodate a family of four.

Enjoyed our stay here!
Very clean and quiet hotel. Short walk from the subway. As with most Asian hotels, you'll only get one room key, and if you take the key out of its holder in your room, your room has no power. Also, you cannot use the elevator if you do not have your room key. So this makes it very difficult for one of you to run to the store and leave the other behind in the room. That is a small inconvenience. We'd definitely stay here again when in Beijing!

It is my second stay in this hotel. Very friendly and nice staff. Check-in and check-out went smoothly and maybe the fastest in China. I lived on the executive floor with free drinks in the lounge, which is nice if you have visitors. The room was clean and the swimming pool is a bonus. Wifi is fast. BF is excellent with many options. Location is good, with short access to metro system, although the entrance to the hotel main gate is a bit difficult for taxi driver to find. In general a very nice stay.

The room and services exceeded my expectation. The room (standard, king bed) is clean and spacious. Bed and furniture are in great condition. Most people who stayed here seemed to be scholars with business with the associated university. Breakfast is great. All staff members that I met are friendly. It is certainly worth the price.

It's not located in tourist area, but next to subway station & plenty local shops, restaurants. I think totally worth the price. The staffs are very friendly, but don't speak much English. The only thing we complained is that the gym & pool open from 12pm - 11pm.

4 star quality in a boring neighborhood
This is a very nice, modern 4-star hotel with all the comforts you would expect, but in a very boring neighbourhood. There isn't even a convenience store nearby, and the only decent restaurant for quite a way is the hotel restaurant. I had business in the area, so it suited me fine. The rooms are large. The staff are friendly, but they could be a bit more professional. One evening a few of us wanted a drink in the lobby bar, but it was full. Would they let us take our drinks to sofas in the lobby itself? No. They sent up to the 3rd floor restaurant, which was closing because it was 9.30. As a special concession, they stayed open. But the drinks had to be ordered and brought up from downstairs -- which meant a 30 minutes wait. This seemed a bit unnecessary to me! Similarly, at breakfast, I was told not to wait for an omelette to be made, but that they would bring it. But then they forgot. They were embarrassed when they realized. I wasn't in a hurry, and it wasn't a bit deal. But these kinds of thing shouldn't really happen in a quality hotel.
