AC had to much noise that I could not sleep well

My room was front on the street and we couldn’t sleep well from the noise of cars and also When AC was working it’s sound was too much

Jorrible. Perhaps wait until remodel

This was horrible place. Traffic noise all night, next to major street. Condition of hotel terrible. Not too clean. Bathroom, shower size of closet. Toilet paper under sink, next to trash. We complained about it all and the lady said she just bought it and they will have major remodel. Until it's done it's horrible.

Affordable hotel close to UCLA

Pros: Location near UCLA.
Cons: Could use some upkeep. Did not replace towels.
We stayed here during family weekend at UCLA. It is a modest property but the location and price were great. We did not spend much time in the room but it was comfortable and surprisingly quiet given that it is on a busy street. It to 5 minutes to drive to campus.

Uninspiring

Pros: Price and location.
Cons: Service. General exterior appearance - very drab. Signage for finding rooms (since front desk was totally unhelpful on this score).
Location: Lots of Persian restaurants to choose from nearby on Westwood Blvd. 1.5 mile walk to UCLA.
If price is your main object, you'll be ok with this place. Or if you need this exact location. Otherwise, it's pretty dreary. Our room was right on Santa Monica Blvd, so plenty of traffic noise if you open window. Soundproofing is good, however. Biggest gripe was how we were greeted checking in. The young woman could not possibly have been less interested in our arrival. I would give a rating below zero on this if it were available. And this heavily influenced my overall feeling about the place. The room itself is clean and adequate; the bathroom seemed recently redone. The breakfast was just barely adequate. For the location, it's a good price, but it's also a clear case that you only get what you pay for. Ownership should be paying attention to employee performance.

Basic hotel close to UCLA

Pros: Closeness to UCLA
Cons: Outside looks.
Location: There are many nice restaurants in the area; the airport is not far. Excellent location.
Prior to arriving we were a little apprehensive about staying in this hotel as it looks a bit cheap from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room. The person at reception was friendly and we were able to park close to our room.

Shower

Only problem in room 122 was that the shower had two inches of water standing in it in the morning when I went to take a shower. It drained after my shower, but there is likely a clog in the drain.

Motel meets basic needs.

Pros: Location close to UCLA
Cons: The lobby and porch area for breakfast!
Location: UCLA, Hollywood, Santa Monica are nearby.
We needed to stay close to UCLA for 4 nights to attend a conference. There are very high room rates ($400+) all around because of the premium location. The room rate here was higher than it should normally be for a level 2 /5 hotel rating The hotel met our basic needs of a comfortable, safe, clean place to stay. The breakfast, and in particular the eating area for it, was about the worst that I have ever experienced .... and I travel worldwide, a lot! The breakfast room is part of the tiny lobby and spills out onto a very rundown veranda or porch with Goodwill quality furnishings. But, it was better than paying hundreds of dollars more for these 4 nights at a better hotel. I would do it again.

Pros: location
Cons: communication between staff regarding problems and resolving it
both first and second day had to shower with very cold water called front desk several times on first night to report, no one answered on second day told staff hot water not available, told they were working on it, later same day asked again told they called gas company and awaiting response on check in told expedia booked a disability person room and they gave me a different room, although no evidence a room for disabled person reserved
