Newly renovated hotel with friendly staff .

Arrived early and the staffed allowed us to check in. Rooms were clean and well equipped with all that we needed. Close to Rodeo and Shopping areas. Was there only two nights but I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to LA.

The staff was absolutely courteous! Josh was especially good with directions and conversation. I will definitely stay there on my next visit.

Very pleasant stay

My husband, young daughter and I stayed here two days after the hotel opened from being fully refurbished. Everything was clean, fresh and new. The staff were super efficient and pleasant to deal with. We had some issues with things not working in our room including the TV and the in-room safe which was to do with being so newly opened but the staff were very cooperative and willing to assist in sourcing suitable solutions. The wifi worked very well. The inclusive breakfast was fantastic with options for everybody. The dining area was clean and tidy and very pleasant with staff on hand at all times. Every staff member was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. There is a 7 Eleven directly across the road which was very handy for snacks and drinks. There is also a Big Blue Bus stop in front of the 7 Eleven which takes you directly to the Santa Monica Mall. There was also Subway and a few other eating options there too. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms (new hotel)

Pros: new and breakfast is included
Cons: Location should reflect price. it isn't close to the metro
Location: Japan town is nearby
Bright and clean. A/C works well and close to the free way. Close to japan town and free parking. Hot breakfast is included.

Closed Hotel -do not book!

This hotel is no longer open and should be taken off your website!!! I should not be able to book a hotel that is not open for business!!!

I was told by hotel.com that the parking was free but the hotel charged $15 per day, not so happy with that

Needs some improvements

Pros: Rooms are clean, and staff is helpful and friendly!
Cons: For sure internet speed.
Location: Was there for business
I just stayed in the hotel for one night. Still had to work in the evening, and having slow internet isn't something you would expect from a Holiday Inn express. I even tried the wired internet. Also my room was next to the main road, which was noisy during the night because of all the cars. So maybe change the windows on that side? And the breakfast room is almost in open air. For someone from the area, in winter it feels cold.

Commuter Ease Near Freeway

Short Stay Friendly with Commute Ease - Hotel is Great for a Quick "One-Nighter" when you don't want to hassle with Rush Hour commute yet want ease of highway access. That being said neighborhood has small restaurants nearby and food was very tasty. Room was undergoing remodel and was clean and comfortable. Wifi dated but FREE and so was parking. Overall a 3 Star hotel to be sure.
