Unexpected incidental hold in my cardì

Service was not dependable, except at restaurants/bars on site. We asked housekeeping for only about three things in a 4 day stay, and never got 1 of the three items. We had to ask 2 to 4 times for the other two items. They also made us wait over an hour to get our room keys from 5pm to 6pm, due to needing to get the room "signed off" as clean, and their estimated time for this "sign off" was 10-15 minutes. At checkin, the clerk told us that we'd have no housekeeping during our stay unless we asked, and it seemed like that meant no service whatsoever.

Overall, the hotel was a more than a decent stay. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable not to mention the very hot shower on a sidenote the services for the restaurant, especially for breakfast were subpar at best,We were given the opportunity to get a refund for our meal that we ordered up to our room that took over an hour, and they never notified us that the orders got canceled because the staff got overwhelmed and backed up.

The room I stayed in was nice. Found it cool that each room has its own theme. Despite the outdated nature of the area it’s in, the hotel was a refreshing contrast. Would stay again
