Hotel I WONT visit again

Posted Jan 16, 2017
Wouldn't recommend this hotel. Certainly NOT 4 star. Rentokil insect catcher under bed! Rentokil mouse/rat catcher in full view in bar area. Bedroom floor dirty and full of stains. NOTHING in minibar- not even a bottle of water(that's basic)! Overall not good and definitely will not return.

Good hotel for children

Posted Jan 15, 2017
Stayed here with my husband and two kids aged 4 and 2. Had a lovely spacious room, very clean and very quiet. A few marks on wall and a little bit of wear and tear evident but generally very clean. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again.

The last stay had a couple of hiccups, second day room was not cleaned . Asked staff if we could have extra blanket room was cold . Maid came at 17 15 hours was told we had made our own bed and cleaned as we were showering ready for dinner. Breakfast was good , staff could not understand we wanted extra egg well done was not done as requested.overall we did not get the service we paid for.

Not exactly central, but in a pleasant enough area

Posted Nov 29, 2016
Pros: It is a modern, clean hotel in an area close to the Lagan River, on the site of the former gasworks.
Cons: Breakfast could be served without using a buffet for hot food. That would ensure guests had a hot cooked breakfast rather than luke warm.
Location: You can walk to the centre of Belfast in about 15 minutes and there are plenty of sightseeing things to do.
A nice hotel. Breakfast was a buffet which was sometimes only luke warm. Also some days we were served drinks in mugs and not cups.

ONE NIGHT ONLY - TOO SHORT!

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Stayed at the hotel for one night, we were attending an event in Belfast. Very comfortable hotel. Modern and contemporary. Breakfast, a tad pricey, but really excellent. Very pleasant view from the dining room. Near to the city for shops etc. our kingsize room was very pleasant. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom. My daughter and a friend had a twin room next door, likewise comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

Started off rocky

Posted Oct 18, 2016
Location: Location was a not too long walk to the central area of Belfast.
This happens sometimes but even though I requested twin beds at check-in the clerk didn't realize it. But he looked on his computer and said he could arrange it. But when we got to our room there was one bed. So back we had to go to request it again. It was a hassle after a very long travel day.

Nice hotel in a nice quite location

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Pros: Staff were great
Cons: warmer food
Location: 15 walk into the main centre, but the indoor market is really close by
Really nice hotel and nice relaxing outdoor area with view , about 15 minute walk to the town centre , so that might be difficult for those that find walking difficult . Found staff helpful and friendly especially Dagmar in the reaturant Breakfast was really good, with plenty of choice but the food was a bit cold on the first morning

Friendly and very helpful staff. Very clean hotel.

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness and the staff
Cons: There was no gym/fitness facility on site.
Location: Within short walking distance to St. George Market, Botanic Gardens, Ulster Museum; Riverwalk; City Hall; Europa Bus and Rail Station; and SSE Arena.
Great location; very close to many tourist attractions. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only wish they had a gym / fitness centre on site.

Excellent Value

Posted Sep 22, 2016
Location: They will give you a map, and point out exactly where to walk to everything you need
Loved the staff, the proximity to all the city centre areas. You can walk to the quarter in 10 minutes. I had to stay an extra day, and got a much better price at the desk than Expedia offered, though - so it's worth calling there yourself.
