Schön und ruhig gelegen, total nette GastgeberinPosted May 24, 2013 on Hotels

Great place to stay, without the kids.Posted Dec 16, 2012
Location: Very convenient
Aoife, the landlord, is a very pleasant, kind and considerate person. Also, very interesting. The house has alot of character and is a very comfortable place to stay. I will return.

Great LocationPosted Nov 30, 2012 on Hotels
I was up for a short business trip and just stayed one night at Sleepy Cedars. It was a quick 10 minute drive from downtown Belfast and had direct access to the city centre using public transport as well. The host was very friendly and provided an amazing breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with a TV/DVD combo as well. I would definitely go back.

fantastique acceuilPosted Jul 28, 2012 on Hotels
un acceuil fantastique, un chambre très calme et confortable et notre hotesse qui prépare elle même ses confitures, ses yahourts et son muesli pour le petit déjeuner.

Super B&B in BelfastPosted Jul 6, 2012

The impersonal reaction of the hostess made one feel that we were an inconvenience. The breakfast was very faddy but lacked substance.

Nice PlacePosted Jun 13, 2012
Pros: Breakfast was great and the room was comfy
Cons: The bathroom was clean, but small.
Location: Nice quiet area, close to a very pretty park.
Right next to a very nice park. Easy to find. It was a bit of a walk to downtown. Breakfast was simple, but excellent. Even the yogurt was home mede. A nice change from the big Irish breakfast.

Stay at the Sleepy CedarsPosted May 8, 2012
Pros: The Bed and Breakfast was clean and quiet. The breakfasts were beautifully served and delicious. The hostess was kind and helpful.
Cons: We liked everything about the B & B.
Location: We were travelling by train and the B & B was not within walking distance of the station. However, the bus line was convenient to the B & B.
Our stay was quite pleasant and our room very clean and quiet. Our hostess outdid herself with a beautiful and delicious breakfast each morning. She was also very helpful in directing us to sites in Belfast. We enjoyed our stay at the Sleepy Cedars Bed and Breakfast.

Top notch Belfast B&BPosted Apr 23, 2012 on Hotels
As someone who frequents hotels and hostels, it's a delight to stay in one of those elusive other types of accommodation: the B&B. It's often not an option for us further abroad for location reasons, but in Belfast we figured we'd at least have the advantage of language on our side. And boy, am I glad we did! Sleepy Cedars is a comfy, family-style B&B with only a few, well kept rooms. The bed was as comfy as a large marshmallow. The sparkling clean bathroom had a great shower. More than any other place I've stayed, Sleepy Cedars feels like a home away from home. This is probably because of the care that Aoife, who has solo responsibility for the B&B, takes of every guest. She was more than just a source of city information, but actually treated us like friends or family. Mind you, I'm quite partial to anyone who can feed me as well as Aoife. Breakfast was a treat I can barely put words to. Nearly everything was home-made. As well as traditional Irish breads, preserves, cheese and ham, there were cheesy puffs, homemade yoghurt with blueberry compote and home roasted granola, and a delicious spiced rice served in cute little blue teacups. Everything was delicious, and you couldn't wish for more. I would highly recommend Sleepy Cedars to anyone visiting Belfast.

A lovely stay!Posted Nov 16, 2011 on Hotels
We stayed at Sleepy Cedars for two nights. It is a beautiful house and the room was lovely. It was a 10 minute bus ride into the city so very convenient. Aoife was a delight, and it was a such a shame that we had two really early starts that we couldn't enjoy the breakfast to the full extent. But all in all, a great little place!
