Nice B&B ... friendly people running it .. great breakfast plenty of choice. Comfortable bed too.. Maybe a return some time in the Summer to take advantage of the outside paved area.and garden.
What a find, only stayed the one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. The room, the location, the breakfast, the hosts. Well worth a visit. Pity never got to visit the cafe next door, next time I’m in the area I will. I don’t use B & B much but I’d say this place is a bit on the special side, 5 out of 5 from me.
Booked the Jasmine rooms for 2 adults and a 15 yr old. Twin beds, plus a camp bed, and a fold out bed settee downstairs gave us a choice. The double bed settee was really comfortable and gave us plenty of room overnight, and folded away easily on a morning. Ensuite bathroom was nice and airy, with a good shower, could open all the windows for some fresh air and we were independent of the main house so could come and go when we liked. Breakfast was amazing, loads of choice and quality, and our hosts were brilliant. Wifi was good and TV and tea/coffee making facilities. We were asked what we would change when we checked out, and confirmed nothing at all. All clean, allowed us to check in early to leave the car, loads of parking, lovely outside area and felt like home. Would definitely recommend for one or more nights if in the area.
