We had a wonderful week in a two story ocean view room with two adults and two kids. We loved having a separate sleeping area upstairs for the kids. It was nice to have a kitchen with a microwave and fridge for leftovers.
The property is very clean and everyone is helpful and accommodating. The pool bar bartenders were attentive and the drinks were delicious. They used fresh pineapple in the pina coladas, which were ice cold.
We did several tours with Tuff-E-Nuff (scuba, snorkeling, and a day trip to Caye Caulker). Ernest was a great (and safe) dive master. The coral and fish are the most beautiful I’ve seen anywhere in the world, and just a short boat ride away.
James and Andre gave us a fantastic day with handmade ceviche, rum punch, great music, and loads of local history and fish identification. I loved the quiet, laid back vibe of Caye Caulker.
We rented a golf cart for adventures around the island (Secret Beach and San Pedro). There are great dining options nearby, including the food we ordered at the pool bar and a special dinner at the sister resort, Cocoblanca. We also ate well at the Tipsy Lobster, which is across the road.
In the mornings, sometimes you can catch a guy selling awesome breakfast burritos and tamales from his bike.
The resort was very quiet and clean and the service was outstanding.
