While the sea grass (not seaweed that floats - this is literally grass that grows under the water) does grow offshore, it is where you can find sea life and starfish while snorkeling or swimming while standing in the water. We think it's a neat way for people - especially children - to experience the local waters without leaving the beach. For those who are looking for grass-free water, we do have a deep swimming area roped off at the end of the dock.
