Hotel room felt creepy. Very old and really needs an update. Shower stall is really cramped. No elevator but was ok by me as I just had a small pack. Minimal breakfast provided. Owner/reception was friendly and helpful. We booked this hotel based on reviews of the views. Unfortunately our stay had a very foggy morning so we did not get to see the view.

Dear Sir/Madame thanks a lot for your comment. I am sorry your experience with us was not positive. Foggy morning was surely influencing it and I would love hosting you in a different moment with a clear day to make you change opinion. We are a basic 2 star hotel in a wonderful location, trying to make you all share the love for Lake Como, sometimes failing, unfortunately,

Property with the view

Posted Oct 24, 2017 on Hotels
I could only echo all other good reviews , i just could not fault the property with the service, breakfast, comfy clean bed and ofcourse view from the terrace. This property suit the cyclist or the ones with the rented cars, but they provide shuttles to and from downtown.

The room was small and the shower was very small. The staff was great and the atmosphere and view were excellent.

The hotel is located about 3km out of Bellagio but has a fantastic view oh lake Como. Comfortable hotel with friendly service. A car would help but the hotel does have a shuttle bus into town.

Perfect location

Posted Aug 20, 2017
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, very large family room & food was lovely
Cons: Nothing
Location: Overlooking Bellagio & Lake Como, shuttle to & from Bellagio. Ferries from Bellagio to all parts of lake. Take ferry to Varenna & the train to Milan
Sitting eating breakfast Overlooking Lake Como was perfect. Large spacious family room looking down on Bellagio was excellent. Great relaxing location

Brilliant views and nice and quiet. Would stay there again. Not easy to walk to Bellagio town but with the views and quietness great place to relax and drive to Bellagio

Thanks a lot for your comment. I am really happy to see you had a nice experience with us. You are right, walk into Bellagio is 3 km taking about 30 minutes, but you can always ask about our Shuttle service during the day or for taxi in the evenings.

Worst room of my whole Italy trip

Posted Jul 27, 2017
Pros: The Como lake view is amazing from the hotel.
Cons: The hotel should provide good rooms if they are charging this much and help guests carry their luggage to 3rd floor, since there is no elevator.
Location: The location is great for this hotel and Bellagio city is only few miles. The ferry terminal is also couple of miles.
The room was extremely small, as it was only 2 people and they fit 3 beds in it. We could not close the bathroom door because the 3rd bed was struck in the bathroom door. the room had no air conditioning and no place to pen the bags. there were spider webs in the room and it was on 3rd floor and hotel has no elevator to take the bags, so we had to carry these up 3 floors by ourselves. I booked it 3 months in advance and paid a heavy price for family room. When spoke to manager about this, he said it's Expedia's fault and they have been booking 3 in 2 people room. The shower was only 2 feet * 2 feet, so you can not turn around and water only falls on your head. I felt completely cheated by the hotel. The manager said he can try to find a room in some other hotel but not sure what we will get. I will not recommend this hotel if you have bad back, difficulty carrying heavy bags 3 floors or like to shower every day.

Dear Sir I am really sorry and apologize for the bad experience you had here: as I was telling you on site, a better reading of the description of the room should have helped you, the word ECONOMY on the name of the room should have warned you. Secondary the problem of the 3rd bed, as I was still explaining you is due to a difficoult setting within systems, so technology and I really apologize. On site I was offering you the opportunity to look for a different hotel, you didn't want to. The comment you are making helps us a lot since it warns anyone to book an Economy double with a third bed in ( systems DO NOT allow it now). I still apologize, understanding your bad feeling about the experience here, it would have been probably better accepting a different solution that I would really have been pleased to look for! Sometimes commenting on the internet gets to be a kind of "revenge" in these cases. So sorry
