Went cheap.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Location was easy and accessible.
Hotel is just really outdated. The comforter on the bed had to be for the early 80's or late 70's. Shower head mount was busted so the shower head just hung down in the tub. Looked like what appeared to be a dried blood stain on the door jam of the bathroom.

It was clean but old. Cigarette burns on bedspread in non-smoking room. We stayed on 2nd floor but there was no elevator. The people there were great. Very friendly and helpful.

Avoid at all cost!

First, given the lack of competition in the area Super 8's prices in Bellefountaine are outrageous! Charged $140 plus a night for a, at best, 3rd rate establishment. Room was VERY warm upon arrival. Set the temp to 69 and waited, and waited. Finally went to the front desk to find that the guy had not turned the AC in the room on. Water pressure was minimal, basically a dribble. The room doors have NO door catchers so you are serenaded with VERY loud slamming doors all night long. Place Is old and falling apart. Electrical plugs constantly slid out of sockets. Breakfast was a joke. In short, avoid at all costs.

when first walked in, it smelled a little smokey. our room on the second did not smell of smoke at all and was comfortable

Very nice hotel for the price. Nothing fancy but definitely worth it! Would stay here again! The staff was extremely friendly. It was in a great location that was very private and quiet. Close to everything. Overall a great hotel.

Bed bugs

If you like bed bugs then this hotel is for you! Blankets were also stained pretty bad

Issues not addressed properly.

Economy shouldn't mean disgusting. Non-working AC, room not cleaned. One of the 2 nights was booked through 3rd party...we were told we needed to address any concerns with the booking site. Never will we consider this location again in the future. Drive an additional 20 minutes is necessary.

Bellefontaine Super 8

I am thankful for the phone call I received from the hotel the day PRIOR to our stay. When I booked through Hotels.com, I had specifically clicked the NON-Smoking room. The hotel called us to be sure that we were getting the room we wanted. They immediately took care of the situation & booked us the NON-smoking room we intended to have. I am very pleased with this kind of 'one-0n-one' service & will recommend this hotel to others!
