Pros: Good room, good food, and good service.
Cons: I didn't see anything that needed improvement.
Location: It is near downtown Bellevue and a short drive to Seattle. The mountains are nearby and Puget Sound is just minutes away.
The Embassy Suites Hotel Bellevue was a delight. I have come to expect a lot from this hotel chain and they never fail to deliver. The room was very nice. The only minus was the shower head was too high for a short person to adjust. (Now that is just nit picking!) The staff was very friendly. The woman making omelets to order for breakfast was so friendly and had a smile that radiated around the room - and the omelet was good also. This was a vacation stay for us but the hotel would be especially good for a business traveler.

Great when we come to Seattle for Mariner games!

Posted Aug 18, 2017
I brought my mom to Seattle to see the Mariners. I didn't know this hotel was tucked in the trees in Bellevue. What a discovery! We won't be staying anywhere else from now on. My mom is in a wheelchair and the accommodations were perfect. TWO elevators so there was never a wait. We had a late lunch at the restaurant, the food was great and the service even better. Willie was awesome.

Great hotel with convenient location

Posted Aug 8, 2017
Hotel was nice, open and clean. Friendly staff. Quick check in/out. Perfect location- one exit from shopping center (target, old navy, target, etc) and restaurants. Short drive west to Seattle using less crowded and scenic floating I-90. Short drive east to peaceful woodlands of issaquah and snoqualmie falls for hiking trails and waterfalls. Only hotel recommendation would be to upgrade pool and gym. Has simple necessities, but in comparison to rest of hotel- dull, dismal and dark.

Not a bad place to stay. windows were extremely dirty and the shower knob would not stay were you put it causing the water to get hot. Overall a nice place to stay.

We really liked this hotel, our room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice. The breakfast buffet was better then most we've been too, they have a omelette bar. And free snacks in the afternoon!

We loved the main area to get together as a family and play games in the evening. The breakfast was amazing and the location was beautiful! We will be back!!!

The only well-designed courtyard hotel...?

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: Quiet rooms... good location for east side attractions ... quiet rooms ... quiet rooms ... that's all I care about, really.
Cons: (1) Standardize the pet fees so you don't confuse your own front desk. (2) Your WiFi needs improvement. (see main review for detail)
Location: This simply isn't a place for people who want "things to do" within walking distance. This is a quiet location for travelers with cars.
The bedrooms are dead quiet because this hotel actually understood the problem of courtyard noise and took realistic steps to fix it during the design process: * The refrigerator, bathroom, and air conditioning are all outside the bedroom, separated by a thick door. * Most courtyard hotels are *LOUD*. The echoing center creates an endless cacophony of drunken tourists who missed "indoor voice" day back in kindergarten. This hotel fixes the problem by placing the hotel bedrooms on the outer rim of the building, with two sets of thick barriers between the courtyard and the bedroom -- with no walls facing highways or major streets. Rooms are extremely clean with new furniture and appliances. Beds are very comfortable. Minor issues: (1) The pet fee is given as "$75 per stay""; "$75 per pet"; and "$75, pets < 35 lbs only" ... all on official hotel print-outs. Travel sites don't even list the pet fee. I think we paid $75 flat fee for our stay, but it feels like this is not well-defined or uniformly charged, and wasn't given on the mobile app when we booked. The front desk staff don't seem to know which policy (if any) is right. (2) The WiFi is terrible, so plan to use your smartphone as a hotspot, if you've got one. The public network simply won't connect; I wouldn't bother. The password-protected network took 5 retries to download a 2 MB PDF.

Noisy rooms. Older building but decent upgrade that was recently done. Lots of parking but also lots of cars.
