Airy and light-filled, this enormous cafe would be equally great for hosting social groups or hunkering down to crank out a final thesis. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and happily found it open (the ONLY place in B'ham, seemingly!) and nabbed a tasty Chai. Worth the stop. Sunset in Bellingham.. We stumbled on this gem on a road trip to Whistler. Awesome food such as wood-fired pizza and this bbq Cuban sandwich with roasted pork, pickled onions and slaw. Sunset from the dorms of Western Washington University If I had enough heart, I might have found a way past the heavily guarded gate onto the dock; but I didn't. This was as close as I could get. Not only does this place have great food, it also has the most frighteningly awesome clown collection ever seen in a bathroom. Here it is my weak spot, my sweet tooth remedy... pure bliss is truly heaven inside my mouth. If you ever find yourself wondering down in the streets of downtown Bellingham do NOT forget to stop by this place. I’m telling you it’s THE spot! #SweetSpot😋 Sunset from Glass Beach in Bellingham, WA #beach #goldenhour Quirky vessels to hold your most important medications.
Plenty of fun and eclectic household items, furniture, and children's essentials at this well-sourced shop. A flight of beers from Kulshan Brewing served on a cute Washington state shaped platter.
Located in Bellingham, Kulshan is a great spot to grab a beer, chill on their awesome patio and listen to live music.
They have rotating food trucks outside or you can bring food from elsewhere and eat there. Bonus: Trader Joes is a block away so you can load up on snacks, grab a table and some beers at Kulshan and hang out!
#beer #bellingham #america Russian nesting dolls: pillows, birthday cards, measuring spoons and more. The proprietors here love them. Bellingham has got one helluva classy dock... That is severely locked. This was shot though a hole in a fence. Sailing into the Sunset #bellingham #washington #upperleftusa #pnw #sunset #sky #sail #sailboat #views #beautiful Views uplake from the Ranger Station in Lake Chelan, WA Delicious brews and a really great Happy Hour at Aslan Brewing in Bellingham, WA! Aslan was started by some WWU alum who stayed in bham after school. Awesome beer and good food! Make sure to stop by! Flying into my hometown, Bellingham, WA! Beautiful day for flying The old city hall turned to a museum. Killer home made ice-cream just off I5. Fun strip of shops to browse while you finish your cone. Flavors change frequently - my most recent score was a blueberry milkshake. Whatcom Falls Taking off on The David B tomorrow Awesome beer. 2x4 beer is awesome. TAYLOR dock. One of the biggest and best breakfasts I've ever had in probably the funkiest little breakfast joints I've ever seen!
Homeskillet has quite the story - it's run by a husband and wife duo, Kirby and Tina. They've cooked in many different places around the world like on boats, camps, and even in Antarctica before setting up shop in a bright yellow building on B-ham's Kentucky St. Kirby runs the kitchen all by himself, working at lightening speed to get hundreds of orders out per day.
Definitely worth a stop if you're in Bellingham. Prepare for a line up, but it's worth it!
I got the biscuits and gravy, and it was HUGE! Note to smaller appetites - order a half size or share. A bargain at $7!!!

Plenty of fun and eclectic household items, furniture, and children's essentials at this well-sourced shop. Good donuts in a fun, b-movie sci-fi themed cafe. Classic Flash Gordon episodes were showing the other day. Solid southern/creole fare, cold beer and great people watching in old town, Bellingham. This place is totally chill, and especially great for late breakfast and lunch. Try one of the eggs Benedict dishes; awesome. Bellingham 30/9/16 Beer garden with industrial views Beautiful view Bellingham, WA 30/9/16 bright and airy taproom / patio 30/9/2016 Bellingham - funky taproom Bellingham - Great range of craft beers on draft + chilled bottles / cans Quirky interior of this sci-fi themed donut and coffee shop. Tip: If you're after one of their more popular donuts (aka the maple bacon bar) don't wait till the afternoon! Bellingham, WA 30/9/16 cool bike parking stands This spot is a great place to take a dog at low tide, this is the first time I’ve been here at high tide, and still just as amazing. Just some nice graffiti through this alley in Bellingham,Wa. # urban jungle Nice selection of home furnishings - much like a Crate & Barrel - but locally owned.
