Thin walls and ceilings/floors

We could hear the people next door and upstairs so well we had to keep checking to make sure they weren't actually in the room with us. Initial impression of the room was positive. It's clear they put some effort into updating the rooms and the beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom, however, did not match the rest of the room as it appeared very little effort when in to updating/modernizing it. My 15 year old has done a better caulking job than was seen in that bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel when you consider I paid the same amount the following evening for a much nicer hotel room within 3 miles of this hotel.

Nice Hotel close to mall and highways.

Safety Concern.

As I pulled into this hotel I observed several people lingering in the area. The parking lot was riddled with trash and it appeared that a drug deal was happening right in front of me. Off to thefar left had side a group of men stood next to a panel van with the back open. Then men didn't appear to be working but just hanging out. I immediately got an uneasy feeling about this place and decided quickly that safety of my personal property, my family and myself was a concern. We didn't stay and decided to find a hotel in a safer area.

When I was trying to check in there was no one at the front desk, the bathroom looked like it never been clean, the beds were ok

The hotel was a little out of the way but the price and cleanliness made up for the location. Their breakfast menu could use a little sprucing up but overall we had a great stay.

Clean, but dated

We were only staying overnight, so our experience was limited. Check in was easy, but he directed us upstairs using stairs that we initially thought was for staff only. The room was clean, the carpets all through the halls looked as though they hadn't been updated since the 70's. Very limited breakfast choices. But overall, for a stay that lasted less than 12 hrs, it was fine.

This Howard Johnson's hotel had a nice layout, met our needs and was in a nice area near local restaurants diner and fast food. Serves a very basic but nice breakfast if you're looking for coffee bagels and waffles to get your day started.

It was good experience staff was great room was cleaned everyday quiet for all our stsy but 1 night and staff took care of it!

Good for a night or two

The place is desperately in need of updating, but it was clean, cheap, and close to where I needed to be. The staff was also friendly. All things considered, I got what I expected, considering what I paid.
