very happy with our stay in hotel and Seattle. May be the best clam chowder ever. So nice and close to Pike Place Market, waterfront shops, Space Needle and Monorail too!

Beautiful Hotel on the Water's EdgePosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: Location View Staff Lounge Room Elevators
When we drove up to the hotel it looked like a rustic motel from back in the day. However once inside it was classy rustic. Our room was very nice even without a view. The Lounge booths felt like a cruise ship on the open water. Our check in was quick and easy. The sweet front desk person (can't remember her unique name) treated us to a drink for my 50th Bday. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here next time.

Amazing viewsPosted Aug 26, 2015
A lovely hotel in an amazing position. If the view is not important you might want to choose a hotel a bit more central but the hotel does offer a free bus ride to sights within a mile radius, which pretty much covers everything. The rooms are very comfortable with good bathrooms.

A Charming Seattle Hotel.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The hotel is well managed and the staff is friendly and well trained. The property is in a excellent location and is very secure and clean.
Location: Excellent waterfront location close to restaurants, bars, activities and the ferry terminal.
We spent four nights at the Edgewater for a Anniversary getaway. The hotel has a unique Pacific Northwest charm. It is located on a pier and is the only hotel on/over the water. The location is on the waterfront and very central for seeing the sights. We were able to walk to many attractions easily and enjoyed the views from our room. The hotel staff was amazing and assisted in recommending restaurants and places to visit. The hotel shuttle transports you to many of the main downtown points of interest on the hour. The hotel lobby is very attractive and inviting with areas to relax and view the harbor. The restaurant Six Seven is excellent and highly recommended. The bar is very active and festive with a diverse crowd. This hotel and the staff discreetly provide a high level of security with card access and awareness. There is on the pier gated parking available.

We had a wonderful stay. Friendly staff. First class restaurant. Elegant but not stuffy. The only truly waterfront hotel in Seattle.

25th Wedding AnniversaryPosted Aug 1, 2015
We'd never been to the Edgewater, though have walked, driven past, and looked at it thousands of times. My wife book us a night for our 25th wedding anniversary. From our arrival through our departure the staff was excellent, the room was excellent, the view was excellent, our drinks at 67 were excellent, our dinner was excellent, well, you get the point. We borrowed bikes from the Edgewater Sunday morning and had a fun 5-6 mile ride in the linear park next door to the north. Plus, we stayed just 5 doors down from where the Beatles stayed 51 years earlier. The band was a little loud on Saturday night, but staff had warned us, given us options, but we loved this westward viewing room with a bath, a fireplace and all the old wooden charm of the room's finishings.

Great locationPosted Jul 28, 2015
The Edgewater is in a fantastic location. It's just a quick walk to the Seattle Aquarium and Pike Place Market. The huge window in the lobby overlooking the water is a great feature. You can enjoy a glass of wine and chat with friends or cozy up in a chair to read a book. The little store located inside the hotel is fun to browse and there is a coffee shop in the back. The rooms were very clean and have their own fireplace.

Great views and locationPosted Jul 28, 2015
Great views and location to waterfront, running and striking distance to Pike's place market. The AC in the room was a little loud and inconsistent and we couldn't open the window due to the trains. Room was very clean and homey with a nice bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful but wouldn't liked complimentary coffee in the lobby area for guests. I mean we're in Seattle where great coffee roams free.

Very nice hotelPosted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Location, ambiance, staff and restaurant
Cons: Would be nice if they had a pool
Location: Walking distance to pike's market and waterfront. Hotel offers free shuttle to and from any location within a mile.
Great location and wonderful ambiance. Rooms are kinda small but that did not bother us. We had a room with a bay view and balcony and enjoyed that view and balcony in the morning and evening. It's not cheap but we are happy with our choice. Seattle is very expensive so if you choose to visit don't skimp if you can afford to. This was probably our only trip to Seattle for quite awhile - if ever again- so I'm glad we chose a hotel that gave us a great view of Elliott Bay.
