Nice location for Big Basin hikers

Easy check-in for pre-paid accommodation, clean room, aircon/heater worked well, bathroom needs an upgrade, washing facilities are cramped, reasonable wifi and an ordinary breakfast. Reasonably comfortable overnight stay.

I had to go to San Jose for two days and didn't want to stay in the city. This place was perfect. Cozy room, quiet, in the country. A grocery store and many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very nice as well.

The room was satisfactory, but had the odor of a dog having been the previous guest. The sink was plugging up. Bathroom shower curtain about to come off of its rings. All was mentioned to the owner before leaving.

Bagels not included

Posted Nov 2, 2017 on Hotels
This hotel is great! Perfect location, awesome staff and good pricing. We only had 2 issues which were trivial if you think about them, which is why we didn't factor them into this review. 1) the pool is seasonal. They were in a heat wave and it was in the 90's so a swim would have been nice. But it was after labor day. 2) there wasn't any bagels at the free breakfast buffet. I know, I'm griping about a free breakfast. Overall we loved it there, and will be recommending them to everyone we know, and will be back for another stay soon!

Visit in the redwoods

Posted Oct 10, 2017
Pros: The price...
Cons: Clean up sitting area by river. Needs some sprucing by storage area. Fix fridge in 124 as humed all night...
Location: We just went out to a German restaurant just down the street.. Okay but not great by any stretch....
This is a rustic property that is relativity in good shape. Some road noise but overall okay for sleeping. We did have an irritating hum in our room from the fridge. The pillows and mattress were updated but otherwise it is a trip back in time. This property is located on the edge of town. Can walk to just about all the restaurants and stores. Pool but no spa. Pool area is comfortable for sitting... Breakfast is adequate no eggs or sausage/bacon just pancakes, muffins and cold items. Good value for the area....

Nice hotel for overnight trip

Posted Oct 7, 2017
Pros: Clean and quiet, location
Stayed one night on a trip along the coast. Wanted to see some trees after days of ocean views.
