Super great motel

Posted Jul 21, 2016
Pros: everything (location, clean, comfortable)
Cons: I can not think of anything.
Location: close to the outlet stores, close to downtown Bend, and close to the golf course we were golfing the next day.
The room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was great, had a good night's sleep. And even though they allow dogs, we never heard or had a problem with any of the animals. The breakfast was great and well supplied. I would go back to this motel for my next visit to Bend.

Great experience.

Posted Jul 12, 2016
Pros: Sarah at the front desk.
Cons: Breakfast offerings.
Sarah at the front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She went beyond what was expected to assist clients. The breakfast left a little to be desired, but was better than nothing.

Convenient in Bend

Posted Jul 8, 2016
Disappointed in a very warm and closed in eating area. Liked the laundry availability. Tub needed cleaning work and shower head was loose. Liked sink outside tub area. Basic but not as impressive as our other Oregon locations. Didn't appreciate the much higher cost for third night. It's adequate but nothing to make it stand out. Check in clerk worked hard to get us on first floor

The bed and the shower were great!

Posted Jun 27, 2016
Overall great experience, one issue was several families participating in a softball tournament were at the hotel so unable to use the pool (too crowded) and also no where to sit at breakfast (too crowded)

Great. People were the best! Friendly and helpful

Posted May 17, 2016
Pros: People and the indoor pool. Free cookie's at check in.
Cons: The showers
Great. People were the best! Friendly and helpful Rooms and bed were good. Shower and bathroom could use some updating. However, basically it was ok. My husband is tall so it was very hard for him to shower in such a short shower.

thank you for the nice review, I am sorry the shower was a problem for your husband and yes we are hoping that the bathrooms are our next update as we just did furniture, carpet and drapes this last year. Vicki Stewart General Manager

Hotel too close to a bar - caused us problems.

Posted May 2, 2016
Pros: Was clean nice upgrades but you could not control the air conditioning unless you use your card to open your room - the room was very hot.
Cons: Refuse entry to the hotel to people who are drunk. Have a curfew.
Location: The tavern is a nuisance to the guests staying at La Quinta Inn.
We drove a 13 hour day asked for a room in a quiet area of the hotel. Was awakened at 1:00 a.m. in the morning by a screeming drunk women who forgot her key and could not open her door to her room. We were not impressed by the hotel management letting her disturbing the peace. The bar was in walking distance from the hotel we paid $157.22 Cnd for this room you would think we could get quiet time for that price. Very disappointed.

Extremely PET FRIENDLY

Posted May 2, 2016
Very nice experience. This was our first vacation with our pets. The experience at this property was exceptional. The dog treat at check in was a nice surprise. The lady at the reception desk was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Bend

Posted May 1, 2016
Pros: Price. Convenience.
Cons: Exterior is awful. Heat on in the building made it impossible to regulate in the room.
Location: Too many things to list. Mountains, kayaking, skiing, canoeing, spelunking, so much more.
Cheap hotel, renovated rooms. Not great, but not bad.

Dear JM, I am not sure why you found our exterior "awful" I am hoping it is due to the fact that we are coming out of winter and are just now being able to get out and do our spring clean up. I don't know if you asked the desk for help with your heat or not but we would have been more than happy to help you with that. If we did help and you still had problems with it my sincere apology the idea was never to have a system that causes issues for guests. Vicki Stewart General Manager

New carpet, Quiet

Posted Apr 30, 2016
Brand new carpet in rooms, comfy bed!! Love how well the a/c worked. Big rooms! Used shampoo left in top of shower---also had paint from where previous persons pet scratched on door frame I wiped it right off the bathroom floor, which tells me the floor hadn't been swept or mopped (EWW!)
