Convenient Hotel

Pros: Convenient, clean, and the room was a good size with two queen beds. The microwave and mini fridge as well as a small wet bar were nice.
Cons: The breakfast was average. Not a wide selection of healthy choices. Just a tip, there is no elevator, so if need assistance book main floor.
Location: The hotel is at the South end of Bend. Convenient access to highway. Close to downtown. Crater Lake is close enough for a day trip.
Hotel was clean and looked like it had been remodeled. Within walking distance of several restaurants and across the street from Walmart. Rooms were surprisingly quiet. Indoor pool and hot tub. Pet friendly. Not far from downtown and easy access to highway 97.

Weekend in Bend

Poor value for the money. Air conditioning weak. Hotel dated

Very nice hotel for those on a budget -- it was clean, secure, expedient check-in and no unexpected charges. Free wifi, breakfast, and parking.

There was plenty of shopping and food nearby. The breakfast was very good too.

A Pleasant overnight

Pros: It was clean, quiet, safe location. We've stayed in LaQuintas before. Some are better qualitiy than others, but they are always adequate.
Hotel was clean and quiet. The room and the bathroom were small. Very little space on vanity to unpack toiletries. Breakfast had a bowl of ice with hard boiled eggs. No scrambled eggs. For a place to stay while passing through this was a pleasant stay. There was a Shari's restaurant across the street, gas station nearby to fill-up, easy access back on to the highway.

Friendly and Comfy!

Cons: The shower heads need updated!
The hotel was clean and comfy! And, the staff there was wonderful! Ranae was the best! Homemade cookies??? Thank you very much! If I need a hotel in Bend again, I will definitely use this one!!!

Hotel was ok just no hot water for showers. Breakfast was the same every morning and it was not much. Coffee was terrible. Pool was good and front desk staff were nice.

Economical hotel near mountains

Pros: Great location and price; we made great use of the hot tub and pool with our sore muscles, and met nice families.
Cons: See comments above
Location: Go on neighborhood walks, long walk or short drive to the Old Mill district for great food, go skiing!
We had a very positive experience overall at La Quinta. The only critique is that our roomed smelled like chemicals that were trying to mask other smells, such as that of smoking or pets. Fortunately, we were able to open the window for sleep and airing out various times (we stayed for 3 days). I would suggest using fragrance-free and environmentally friendly products for carpet and room cleaning.

Find somewhere else.

we stay hotels 5-6 times a year and this was by far the worst I have ever stayed in. We stayed on the basement level and the view from our window was a wall of bark dust. The room itself was old and gross. We had 2 queen beds and one was super comfortable but the other wasn't. I wish I would have known that they didn't have elevators before I booked. I was traveling alone with my small children so I was stuck making them wait at the bottom of the stairs while I carried up the luggage and then came back for them. Multiple times. It was not worth the money. At all.
