Superb!

Posted May 12, 2017
Pros: Service. Security.
Cons: Food
Location: Nothing close by
I have traveled and stayed in many hotels around the world. Leela Palace has got to be the best one so far in terms of service, security, and comfort. The only one thing that was not perfect was the food. Breakfast was great but the dinner and the couple of lunches that I had were not the best. They were not bad but just OK. If I ever go back to Bangalore, I'll definitely stay here again.

Dear Guest, Greetings from The Leela Palace Bengaluru and thank you for your kind words. I am disheartened to understand that we did not meet your expectation as far as dining experience is concerned though we have put together a very elaborate menu with expert chefs across our F&B outlets - Jamavar, Zen, Le Cirque Signature and Citrus. We are happy to know that you would come back to stay here again and eagerly look forward to your visit. Warm regards, Usri Sen Manager - PR & Marketing Communication The Leela Palace Bengaluru

Mosquitoes everywhere; lobby, restaurants, gardens

Posted Mar 31, 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Palatial look and that where it ended.
Cons: Mainly the service staff; but then as they say your staff is as good as your manager who has trained you!
Location: location is good however, away from CBD. If people are visiting you then its ok, but, don't assume liability for mosquito bites!
Mosquitoes everywhere; lobby, restaurants, gardens; i got bitten heaps just waiting in the lobby for getting checked in!! Do NOT open your balcony door! or even sit outside!! Mosquitoes are a very big problem. Restaurant service very poor; Breakfast spread ok but no one is bothered to serve; Unlike TAJ hotels where the service is in your face all the time. I asked for coffee three times and never got served!

Beautiful hotel

Posted Mar 13, 2017
The hotel is beautiful and you are looked after well by the staff. I stayed in a club room which is far superior to a regular room. The room is exceptionally comfortable...but was quite a walk to get there. The thing that let the hotel down was the quality of food and service in the restaurants... not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Overall though it was a pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel and great staff. The beds are a little firm but other than that a great place to stay. The hotel has a few different restaurants with different cuisines so everyone can find something good to eat. The grounds are like a nice garden and you feel removed from the traffic and hectic pace of life on the streets. I would definitely recommend The Leela when staying in Bangalore.

Sincerely nice and accommodating

Posted Feb 7, 2017
Pros: Clean, helpful, nice outdoor space
Staff was very accommodating and seemed to be genuinely interested in guests' comfort. I was surprised and relieved to see that the outside dining space has a large area that my 3 young kids could run and play while I actually relaxed at the dining table. (Not specifically set up for kids but we brought some toys and a ball with and the space away from other tables was enough for my kids to entertain themselves while I enjoyed the delicious food.)

Still great but due for a remodel

Posted Jan 19, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: the room, the attentive service, the pool
Cons: the spa and the décor in general is getting dated
Still one of the best. Check-in and check-out need to be faster. Showing its age but otherwise supberb. Le Cirque was overpriced and mediocre food.
