Loved the hotel from every aspect. The breakfast buffet was amazing and they’d even make eggs Benedict upon request. Balcony in the room was great for meals and relaxing during down time. Staff was extremely helpful whenever anything was needed. Loved the grounds and you would have little to no idea you’re in the middle of a major city when walking through the lawn.

Impressive!!

This is the Best hotel we’ve stayed at in India!! Very pleasant experience!! An elegant plantation type of decor.. loved it! The staff is always ready to help and so courteous!! We enjoyed our stay there very much and look forward to our next stay there when we’re in town!!

They need to improve their services

Location: Not much, except the MG1 mall.
The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are friendly. However, sometimes they do not deliver. Examples of lack of delivery: (1) When I was checked in, they asked which newspaper I want to get. I chose Times of India, but the news paper never delivered to my room. (2) When I checked in, I was asked if I need to make an appointment in the spa, which I did for the following day. However, next day I found no booking was made. (3) When I ask the concierge to go to nearby places, no maps were provided and no writing of addresses or names of places. They just tell you go left go right, as if they are people on the street. (4) Once I asked the concierge to find out places to buy some Indian perfume, they promised to send some body to my room. They never did. I checked again the following day, they promised to have one of the staff contact me, but they never did too. (5) The hotel charge a lot for pick-up from or to Airport (INR 4,000 + tax), while you can have a decent comfortable and safe ride on a taxi for about 1,200, with a company like Akbar Cab. I think this is totally exploiting. Most 5-star hotels provide this service for free. (6) Once I had three guests in my room. I asked the reception guy to help in proving an extra chair to use in the balcony, which he said he will do immediately, but that promise was never fulfilled. (7) The hotel is great and it's overlooking balconies on the beautiful garden is unique. (8) I will definitely come back to the hotel.
