This hotel was everything we needed it to be for the time we spent there. I appreciated the friendliness and of the staff , they were very accommodating. One may see the property as outdated but because I needed the value of this lodging, I took it’s humble appeal as a positive. I really like that there were no rugs in our room. I liked the wood floor laminate for cleanliness purposes.

Excellent value for the money. Very clean comfortable rooms. Staff was knowledgeable about the area and very helpful Having the refrigerator was great to store my gluten free food for my breakfast. My traveling companion enjoyed the free breakfast offered. Enjoyed relaxing on the bench under the tree after a fun filled day of visiting art studios in the area. There is also a fantastic nursery right next door!

The staff were very friendly and the pool is well maintained. However, the overall condition of the hotel room desperately needs to be renevated. It should not be almost $200 a night for what you get. Also, the continental breakfast was very limited.

The sink was broken, the bed was broken., the door lock was broken and the place smelled. It was dirty and really incredible they are still allowed to use it. Disguting! And, they are housing homeless people in rooms right next door.

The room was clean and renovated. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating Didn’t like the breakfast. No options for someone who doesn’t like at sugars , carbs or processed food.

We enjoyed our stay here. This was the 2nd year we have stayed at this Econo Lodge. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. The room was clean. Next time we would choose a room with 2 beds instead of 1 for more room. : )

Stumbled on the Econolodge when I inadvertently got caught in the area at dusk in the height of leaf season. The reception service was friendly and efficient. The price was reasonable given the season. I often have asthma trouble in older properties due to cleaning odors but this place was spotlessly clean without the overwhelming smell of industrial cleaners. Parking was right outside. I make the trip every year and would definitely stay again. Beautiful area and restaurants in walking didtance.

Ok if you like old cigarette smell!
Well we should have known it would not be ideal but considering how much they were charging we expected something a little better. The room basically stank of old cigarette smoke. We ended up not staying the night because we could not sleep.

The management and staff as super nice and accommodating, but the room was not worth the $330/night price. There was a visible crack between where the door meets the frame, letting light (and bugs) creep in. After taking a shower, I noticed my newly cleaned feet were dirty, and finally figured out came from walking around the room meaning (they had not mopped the floor in quite some time). I could expect this for a cheaper place, but for over $300 night, this is just gross and unacceptable.

The room smelled like someone had been smoking. It was disgusting. We needed to buy air freshener for the room. The breakfast was terrible, cold coffee and stale cereal. The gallon of milk and bottles of juice just left on the counter. The milk was not in a bucket of ice, the selection of food was snacks ie cookies, Rice Krispies treats, and Swiss rolls. There was never anyone at the front desk when we came over yo hey ice and check out. We were very disappointed. The manager was also a little nasty when he asked if I had a pet with me. They claim to be pet friendly.

Bathroom door would not shut and there were a considerable amount of scuff marks on the walls, making the place appear somewhat dirty even thought the cleaning staff did a great job of cleaning the room.

We were disappointed with this hotel. We were in a group of rooms adjacent to the main building that were okay at best. Had we seen pictures of them in advance we would have booked elsewhere. My wife was no happy at all.

The property, including the room was very clean. However, the common areas (hallway, lobby) smelled strongly of either a cleaner or deodorizer that was very unappealing to me. Some of the smell carried into the room but it was mostly the common areas.

Do not stay in this disgusting motel. Our room was bombed with overpowering potpourri to cover up the cigarette stench. My sinuses were on fire by morning even though I had the window open with the airconditioning running. I spoke to the front desk and told them if it's a smoking room you can't call it a non-smoking room. They were completely unapologetic and frankly should not be in the hospitality business. I would encourage any non-smoker to stay there, or anyone who does not like a dirty room.

Don't stay here! We stayed for two nights and when we returned to the room the second day, all of our personal items left in the room were either stolen by someone, or housekeeping threw away everything we had left in the room. Front desk was very rude. Towels were stained, spare blanket was dirty and cable TV didn't work after first day. Worst hotel experience of 50 years!
