Value priced hotel with a nice poolPosted Nov 13, 2015
Pros: The pool was great and relaxing. Fridge and microwave in our room was a nice surprise. Breakfast buffet is a convenient extra value.
Cons: We didn't find the beds or pillows to be super comfy. We got kicked off the wifi a couple times and had to re-login.
Location: New Buffalo offers good food, cute shops and plenty of nearby lakeshore towns also.
We were impressed with the value of this hotel; we paid about half what we normally pay in the area. There were a few compromises, but the hotel was generally solid - very clean, nice amenities, professional staff, updated décor in our room and lobby. We had a little trouble finding it at first; we drove past it twice, because it's tucked behind another hotel and hard to see from the road... use your GPS and you should have better luck. The hotel was quiet when we were there (off-peak season, mid-week nights), and I think we benefitted by getting a recently updated room - the décor and shower were both very new looking. The pool was the highlight of this hotel; it was the perfect temperature to just walk right in without getting the shivers, and the murals gave the pool area a relaxing ambiance. The breakfast was a typical continental spread (cereal, yogurt, baked goods, etc), augmented by a make-your-own waffle option. On the downside, the wifi seemed a little spotty, and the pillows weren't our favorites.

Very nice hotel with good facilities. Only issue we had with out stay was that both drains the sink and shower were not working. The shower drain/ stopper was broken and the sink did not drain. The room was nice and clean as well as being very comfortable.

Not worth the money.Posted Oct 5, 2015
For a $130.00 a night the suite was not worth it. The cold handle on the jacuzzi tub was broken. The towel rack in bathroom was broken. Paint job throughout hotel and in room was some of the worst I ever seen. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Comfortable accommodationsPosted Sep 5, 2015
Cons: The breakfast could have been better -- nicer muffins, doughnuts, etc. to choose from. The fruit was not as fresh and nice as it could have been.
We enjoyed our stay at the Baymont Inn. The pool was lovely. We loved the paintings on the walls in the pool area. They were beautifully done -- soft and soothing. The hot tube was wonderful!

Nice place, excellent value.Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: The facilities, proximity to town, and value.
Cons: The walls were not very sound proof as you could hear activity in the hall and surrounding rooms pretty easily.
Location: Located outside, though close to, of town, near I-94. A few fast food places close by but not much else. .8 of a mile to town.
We rode the train with our bikes to New Buffalo for an overnight trip and this hotel had the best price and was located less than a mile from the station. Very few people were there on our visit, but I was impressed with the facilities for an economy hotel. Pool, hot tub, and nice exercise room along with a decent continental breakfast. Would visit again.

Not a bad location. Short drive from the beach.Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Convenient location.
Breakfast buffet kind of sucked. Pool seemed fungal despite being LOADED with chlorine. My eyes burn thinking about it.

Good Price & good placePosted Aug 15, 2015 on Hotels
The town is quaint, great Italian Restraint in town, Bicinos, salad, pizza (nice), and entree, $32 for 2. You’re a mile out of town, no problem. The breakfast is continental, but the Belgium Walffles are 4 small ones, nice for sharing.
