I would rate this place 0 out of 5 stars. When looking at the ratings online, it averaged between 4 and 5. Well they must have paid someone for those ratings or made them up themselves. This is far and away the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Here are the issues that my family had to endure: 1) Had to wait to check-in: Drove 2.5 hours to this destination, pulled up and went to check in. Unfortunately the front desk clerk was nowhere to be found and there was no back-up. I waited over 1 hour and 15 minutes and they finally drove up. They were out to dinner and the nite shift clerk did not show up. 2) Hotel was run-down and not clean: When we finally checked in, we went to our room. Room was filthy, the Toilet was clogged, the TV didn't work. 3) Hotel Staff: While I liked the hotel staff (only one person on duty at all times), the customer care just didn't seem to be a focus. While I don't want to come across as judge-mental, the day-time staff person was very unkept, had terrible body-odor and had long nails that had dirt caked underneath them. I do not want to feel like I am eating and sleeping in an unsanitary hotel... but unfortunately thats what we endured. Appeared as though the owners would come and sit in the lobby for a short time in the morning... But they didn't seem to care much about their customer base nor the hotel itself. We had a whole group of people booked at this hotel and needless to say, none of our families will ever return.

The location was convenient. The staff was friendly. There were dirty handprints all over the furniture and headboard. The elevator was dirty. The pull-out couch did not have a mattress and there was food and trash underneath the couch. The pool was closed due to health code violations. We asked for sugar for coffee and the hotel did not have any and did not restock it during our stay. Overall, the breakfast food was low quality. The Cheerios tasted like cardboard.

I am a choice rewards member so I try to stay at a Comfort Inn whenever I travel so I have a lot of experience with Comfort. This was my first stay that I had a bad experience and felt compelled to write a review. The staff were helpful and friendly but no one was in uniform other than random sweatshirts seemed to be the preferred. When we entered the elevator the first time there was an overwhelmingly odor of marijuana. Then when we entered our room, the room smelled the same as the elevator especially the bathroom. Our neighbor must have been smoking in their bathroom and the smoke traveling through the exhaust fans. I opened the window to air out the room and found the curtains were ripped to shreds. The room was clean but there were a few dirty spots on the comforter cover. My biggest issue with the room was the lack of routine maintenance. Not terrible but run down. Paint was worn on corners and areas that are touched a lot. Wallpaper was peeling, especially in the bathroom around the shower. The shower head looked disgusting with hard water buildup and leaked around the threads. The one real dirty thing in the room was the desk/office chair. there was no remote for the tv and when we used the phone to call the desk because the toilet wouldn’t flush, there was so much noise and buzzing on the line I could barely hear the front desk. Good news is the young man at the desk came right up with a plunger and got the toilet working again but then proceeded to drip toilet wate
