Decent room for the price, but no wow factors. Could use updates. We stayed in Room 209 and the toilet ran non-stop. The hotel didn't seem too busy but somehow we had noisy neighbors both nights. Breakfast was convenient but limited. The night front desk staff wasn't the friendliest and were sleeping in the front lobby. The morning front desk staff however were great! Housekeeping was trying to rush us out of our room at 9am, but we just left the DND sign on the door until checkout. Overall, you get what you pay for, it's budget friendly, and just like any other place it had it's pro's & con's.

Enjoyed Our Stay
We were in South Haven for the New Year's Eve Celebration and were looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable and convenient place to stay. The Comfort Suites checked all of those boxes. We were pleasantly surprised to find the staff to be friendly, the room clean (newly renovated...?) and the breakfast fresh and good. One of the New Year's Eve Celebration shuttle stops was directly next door at Three Blondes Brewing making this location even more convenient if you didn't want to make the short drive into town. We're already planning on returning to the Comfort Inn for next year's New Year's Celebration or maybe even the Ice Breaker Festival in February.

The room was very clean and quiet. We only stayed for one night so we didn't get to utilize the pool or gym, but the breakfast was pretty decent. The in-room coffee was terrible, but the coffee out in the common area was pretty good.

Hidden Gem of south haven
Nothing from the outside would tell you that this is a true stand out among the rest of the hotels on this strip. when you walk in the entry way you can smell how clean it is. Karen checked me in and attended to my every need he is an amazing person kind and thought-full. they even give you a welcome gift of water snacks and mints. it was everything and more then i was expecting cant wait to stay there agin next year.

Why pay the high prices for other hotels in the area. This hotel was very clean and served its purpose. Big rooms and comfortable beds and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
