Liked: Cleanliness
It was fine
Location: Convenient location to campus, grocery, restaurants; but is on the corner of a busy street. There is a train across the street; only heard it once.
House: It is an old house but it seemed pretty clean. There are some things they could do to make it a better experience for guests. They would be better to have another small sofa for more seating instead of the futon couch and two small chairs. It wasn’t very comfy for our family of four. One set of the blinds in the living room wouldn’t pull down all of the way & the curtains don’t cover the window, plus they are sheer. The kitchen needs some attention. The cabinets have peeling paint. The bottom cabinets were very sketchy. It would be nice if the pest control traps weren’t visible by the stove…The bathroom is a good size, but no place to put your toiletries. They could stand to have an over the toilet shelving unit or other open shelves for your toiletries. Also, a curved shower curtain rod would make a huge difference in the perception of shower space and a shower curtain with weights to keep it from sticking to the guest when they are showering. The water pressure was great though. The bedrooms: would have liked heavier or blackout curtains to help block some of the street noise. Also, a blanket for the futon would be good. Luckily I had a blanket in the car that my son could use since that was his bed during our visit. All in all, it worked ok for us given that we spent most of our time out while in Fayetteville.
