The staff was ok and the coffee was terrible.

Posted May 15, 2017
I won't go back. They need to work on having fresh coffee and not machine coffee. Also, needed more food choices . The hotel staff was lukewarm.

Very nice hotel

We would stay here again. The breakfast was typical for this class of hotel, but it covers the basics plus a few extras. The room was spacious and clean.

Solid Hotel

Posted Apr 10, 2017
Pros: Ease of check in and check out. It was nice that they had a full length mirror in the room as well.
Location: Very close to the University, which is what we were there to visit. Lots of nearby shops as well.
We stayed in this hotel for only one night. The staff member who checked us in was pleasant, attentive and helpful. The hotel room was nice enough. Everything was very clean, which is always a plus. The pillows were plump, which was a big plus for me, but my husband likes them flatter. I was annoyed at first that there seemed to be nowhere to plug anything in. My family travels with multiple devices, so plugs and data ports are always super important. I usually carry a power strip with me when we travel and did this time as well, but had a hard time finding anywhere to plug into. In the morning, I realized that the light on the desk had both plugs and data ports incorporated into it. I've seen this before, but because both the ports and the light were a dark brown, they were hard to identify at night when we checked in. There was an in-suite mini-fridge and microwave. The breakfast was about standard for this kind of hotel: pastries, hot and cold cereals, oatmeal, fruit, yogurts, coffee, juices, milk, sausages, waffles, powdered eggs and gravy. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would stay again.

Noisy

Posted Apr 10, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Insulate the next hotel you build.
This is the noisiest hotel I have stayed in. I could hear every footstep in the room above me and every word (some of them not nice) that my neighbor next door said. For the price of this hotel, I should not be able to hear my neighbors!

ok for the night

Posted Feb 21, 2017
Pros: the staff was very kind and considerate. they did everything in their ability to fix our many complaints and were very gracious to us
Cons: shower, breakfast, noise level, work out facilities, pillows!
Location: nice central location, close to food, shopping and highway access
If you're just staying one night, it's ok for the price. we tried to make a weekend of it and it was pretty bad. no shampoo in shower (didn't find that out until IN the shower :() there was zero water pressure so the water just spilled out of shower head and you had to stand under it to get rinsed. the noise the first night was terrible. we were on first floor, so every person in hallway, on either side of us, above us, we could hear it all with unbelievable clarity. next night, moved to 3rd floor, much better. Pillows were bad, all of us woke with hurting necks and backs, both days. Breakfast was really bad, second day, we went somewhere else to eat, that's bad...also, workout room was so small, with so little equipment that there was a line to get in there, so again we went somewhere else to work out.

Needs insulation

Posted Feb 20, 2017
I stayed three nights and the walls were so thin that I could hear absolutely everything going on in other rooms. For two night of my stay a bird kept me up all night. I ended up leaving at 11:15pm the last night of my stay and slept in my truck in the parking lot just so I would be rested enough the next day to make the 9 hour drive home. I told the employee why I was leaving and they said there was nothing they could do.

Good for the budget minded.

It is a lovely, clean property that is about 30 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to UofA/Downtown. We took advantage of the breakfast, but it was very messy, in spite of the young woman working - tables were sticky and the food service area a mess - That whole area is super disorganized. The desk staff was very friendly and our room clean.
