A Perfect Stay in a Beautiful Hotel

Posted Oct 22, 2017
Pros: The service, friendly staff, hearty breakfast, cleanliness of the room, location, personal touches (wine, notes) and the option to book transfers!
Cons: Communal area to sit of an evening, though I realise that there isn't always the space to provide this! That was the only missing ingredient really!
Location: Bakery, food stores, restaurants, cafes, Zoo, parks and Museum.
We were very excited to stay at this beautiful hotel to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday this October. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to organise a few details and they could not have been more accommodating. Jerome and all the reception staff deserve praise for their helpfulness, professionalism and friendliness - nothing was too much trouble. Our room, a superior twin, was spacious by Parisian standards and was clean, comfortable and had lovely personal touches upon arrival. Our room had a safe, iron, fridge, bottle of wine, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The location is great, a quiet neighbourhood just outside the centre of Paris. Getting the metro to the centre takes about 20-25 mins and is relatively cheap. The hotel organised our transfer back to Charles de Gaul airport, so there is also that option if you so choose it. You can book transfers cheaper online beforehand which might be worth considering. A bakery, shops and restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style, plenty of choices which differed day to day. Coffee was good, the breakfast room was spotless and it is definitely worth it if you're wanting to start your day early and have a decent breakfast before you travel. The metro is conveniently located a few yards away from the hotel and was audible at times, though it didn't bother us and you can ask for quieter rooms located higher up in the building. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Pros: The location and the decor.
Cons: Declutter the room and turn it into a single.
Location: The couléé verte is nearby.
The decor of the hotel was very tasteful and the staff were friendly and helpful. But the room was very cramped and difficult to move around in. The bed was narrow and there was little space on the small table to work, especially as it was cluttered with objects. While it was nice to have a lift, it was the tightest I have ever been in.

It was a great hotel. A little far out. But close to a metro station.

Ideal placement

The hotel is perfectly placed for the metro. There are a number of restaurants nearby, also a supermarket, a bakery & a few bars. If fast food is your thing there's a mcd's & Burger King on the door step. Very close by there is a beautiful park, a wonderful aquarium & a very presentable zoo. Staff are very polite, friendly & helpful. An in hotel restaurant would be a great addition for those who are not so proficient at ordering food in french(myself included!)
