old facility in poor repair

Pros: Lots of parking available.
Cons: Management that cares and understands what "service" means.
Location: We were traveling through (thank goodness)
room dirty, poor repair, room door ill fitting, bathroom dirty, carpet dirty, beds reasonably comfortable. Advertisement stated room with refrigerator but did not exist. No coffee in the room for the coffeemaker. Phone would not work for local calls, hotel staff could not correct. Breakfast is day-old bagels and toast. Would not stay at this hotel for free.

problematic

I usually stay at lower cost basic hotels, but have never had so many issues with a stay. The first room I was given had a loud whistling sound, so I asked to be changed. They gave me another room (which was very quiet). However, the card would not open the door, so the manager cleaned the lock and said I'd have no more trouble. However, I needed to get them to open the door or give me a new key card 3 times during my stay. In addition, the second room had muddy dirt prints on the carpet, but at this point, I just lived with that. The next day, the maid did not vacuum the dirt up, nor was the trash emptied. The bed was made and new towels were put out, but that's it.

There is no way this motel was rated a 3 star.The room had a musky odor.The box springs on the beds was torn and stained.Paper loose on the wall.Sheets was stained with ink markers.Mold was in the bathroom aroung the grout.Bath tube was dirty.The staff I was not able to understand nothing she said,And she tried to charge me again for the room which was suppose to be free through hot hotels.I am still checking to see if they charged me for the room.Over all I would not stay there ever again.Almost the worst place I ever stayed.

Great stay!

We recently stayed at the knights inn Berea and were please fly surprised with the hotel. When we pulled up, it looked a bit sketchy but we were tired and decided to stay. Front desk staff put us in a jacuzzi suite instead of a standard room, free of charge. Clean room, comfy bed, hot shower! Great stay overall! I travel about 5 months out of the year and will definitely stay again!

OK stay

the hotel was old and needing lots of TLC... seemed like maybe they were in the process of fixing up some of the rooms. It was clean, nice shower, very quiet, tv remote worked, lighting was a bit on the low side (mood lighting?)... Ice machine didn't work, but the AC did. So all in all it was fine for what I needed it for - sleep and do some work while I'm there.
