Good location a short walk from the train station, where the bus from the airport drops off. Lovely room, good breakfast. We were guests of the day which meant we received an upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.

Convenient stop near bus/ train station
Great location, just a 5 min walk from the airport bus stop and train/ bus station. Extremely handy. Good breakfast. Decent sized bathrooms and even used the bath. Pricy though at about £160 albeit it was a Saturday night so when we returned to Bergamo a few days later and the price was £217 for a Thursday night we stayed instead at a delightful bed and breakfast for 95 euros ( casa mia) at the citta Alta incl brekky. Close to the last airport bus stop from the airport. Too much to pay for one night although the hotel is a good standard uniform chain offering. Suited us and good for train access but expensive. It’s 17 years since we last visited Bergamo so there are far more visitors now but a beautiful place to visit.

Very good hotel
Hotel walking distance from Bergamo train station, about 250 mtrs away with a couple of road crossings. Parking is paid but you don't need a car as the hotel is located quite centrally. Rooms are clean, though felt slightly dated but the beds were extremely comfortable and the AC was super cool if you needed it that way! Nice bathrooms and the breakfast buffet (which is included in the room tariff) was very nice. Hotel is recommended for business/personal stay if in Bergamo

Clean hotel close to the train station
The hotel was clean and close to the train station so is easy to get to. The breakfast had a good selection of sweet and savory options. I was able to check in early which was much appreciated, but maybe because they didn't have time to fully prepare the room, one minor issue was that it seemed like they forgot to put all the bed covers on top of the bed so I had to sleep under a thin sheet, which was OK given the AC could be adjusted to keep the room comfortable. Nonetheless, overall I had a good experience at the hotel.

Staff is very friendly and courteous. Multi-lingual. Breakfast buffet had a very large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, yogurts, meats and cheeses. Best scrambled eggs. The hotel is in a strange spot, the driveway to the hotel is not obvious, there is a public parking deck entrance in front of the hotel, and the actual hotel entrance is below street level. Hotel parking is behind the hotel, accessible by foot by walking along the garbage bin areas. No parking spot is guaranteed. Rooms are very small and dark, hallways are poorly lit. Built in closet and drawers.

A mini break in Bergamo made easy at NH

Had a lovely break at NH Bergamo. Hotel was clean, breakfast was typical continental with some bacon and egg. A section at reception with snacks, wine, coffee etc as no bar Down point a really /coffee making facility in room would’ve been welcomed . Italy is still classed as state of emergency regarding covid until the end of March so masks are mandatory as are green passes(vaccination certificate) in cafes etc .

A smart hotel
A smart hotel close to the station at Bergamo. Only a 10 mins walk away from the Citta Alta funicular too Room was efficient, and bathroom was smart.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days. The staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately, I felt the amenities a inadequate - there was no kettle in the room. The staff said this was removed due to covid. Even though this is a 4 star hotel you had to pay each time for a tea/ coffee as you could were unable to make it in your room - due to removal of kettle. The eating area downstairs was really cold and it was not comfortable to sit there. The breakfast was very poor and on multiple occasions I was given burnt eggs. Having said this the staff were absolutely superb and always very helpful.
