Overpriced Mid-range Apartment

It looks like an apartment more than a hotel. Nonetheless, you can book it as hotel and they will provide the services. The room is quite big, but it may be the only positive thing you find about it. When you enter the room and the bathroom, beware of the raised floor. You can be tipped over easily since no one will design a hotel room with unexpected elevated floors.
It is noisy at night over the weekend. Restaurants and bars are nearby. Hot water for shower easily runs out, I think there is a small water tank for each room and it will finish before both of you getting a shower. The hotel provides very limited amenities. Only a gentle liquid soap is provided without any shampoo or conditioner. No slippers, toothbrush, comb or hair cap. The room isn’t very clean either. We find some blood stain on the pillow case.
Breakfast is extremely basic. Food isn't tasty but it can fill you up.
The location is quite good. It is near the fish market and most of the attractions (Tourist Information Centre, Bryggen, etc.) Train station is not very close but can walk with luggage in 20 minutes. Overall, it feels like a budget hotel.
