“This B&B was beautiful, a gem set in the emerald woods up in the mountains outside Denver. Patrick met us upon check-in to show us our room. We had the French Room in the East Wing, which is accessed through an upper terrace so you'll have to dress for the outdoors to have breakfast, which, ironically, was the only thing that detracted from the whole experience. The food, when it came, was excellent, but we waited a long time and actually felt ignored while the next table was being served……

“My wife and I had a 3 night stay over Thanksgiving weekend. It was a wonderful experience! The room was spacious and clean. The service was very good. The heater in the room kept the temperature quite comfortable but some might find the noise a little distracting. The view was nothing special but the window was large and let plenty of light in during the daytime and the blackout curtains kept it dark when it was time to retire. It was also quiet, no noise from any of the neighboring rooms. Just……

“The hotel was near an array of restaurants. The staff was very friendly, and the room was large, neat, and well-appointed. We had some difficulty finding the place after dark -- it's an historic property and so doesn't have prominent signage or lighting capable of advertising itself. Overall, a very pleasant experience.”

“Out of the three properties i stayed at for my weekend getaway, this was the best one. The breakfast was full of variety with proteins including cooked ham, bacon, eggs, biscuits. Check in and check out was efficient and quick. The property was clean, quiet, and very secure. Will stay again. ”
