central location

Pros: central location
Cons: I enjoyed my stay - and found nothing wrong
Location: Very central - great bi-weekly market, lots of things to do in the local area
staff were really helpful and polite - room was clean and comfortable Reception closes from 12-3 but guests have 24 hour access via a key pad entry system - great central location, but the room was very quiet and well furnished Information in reception on local area places of interest was very good I would recommend this hotel

Spiders. Big, black spiders.

Horrible stay. The hotel is run down, has no air conditioning, and is infested with large black spiders that lurk in corners and behind bathroom doors. Since there are no screens on the windows, we couldn't even open them for fresh air for fear that more insects would crawl in throughout the night. It was truly a nightmare for my entire family. We even contemplated sleeping in the car, as it would have been more comfortable.

I felt like I was at faulty towers!

Pros: my room was clean but tired
Cons: update the rooms, have the reception open 24/7 for the security of the guests.
Location: due to the time of year and the reason for my stay, I didn't find much to do
the hotel closes their doors and you have to access the hotel with a long code, did feel particular unsafe. My room wasn't cleaned one day and had to ask for fresh towels, coffee and tea facilities were a kettle and 2 cups. the hotel room was clean but very tired. Oh and a ventilated room means they have a fan in the cupboard.

Great location and price

Hotel right in the centre of Bergerac with parking just opposite, free before 9:00am. Rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again. Great price.

Give this hotel a pass

The room in this hotel was quite shabby - very thin bed linens, and the only curtains were sheers - two other rooms looked in on the window giving us no privacy at all. We tried to change rooms but weren't able to. We hung the equally thin towels over the window in an attempt at some coverage.

convenient for access to town centre

Unfortunately the Hotel was closed when we arrived at 14:15h even though a note at the door said that recepiti0on would be staffed from 7am to 10 pm. There was no Information when the doors would be opened again and when reception would be staffed and available for checkin. The Hotel itself is rather run down and really needs renovation

Exceptionnally it can happen that the receptionist leaves the office and in that case, as you mentioned in your comment, she leaves a note on the front door explaining her time of return. On all our Partner's Websites the check-in time mentioned is 3pm to 10pm, if by any means you arrive before or after these hours you should contact the hotel to inform them about it in order for us to do what is necessary for your arrival and make it as easy as possible. The hotel staff were helpful with the late night check-in. The hotel is quite dated and could do with a refurb.

Cheap and cheerful

2 night stay en-route through France. Location excellent right in town centre. Parking at Hotel car park 7 euros. We just parked outside hotel free between 7pm and 9am. We did not eat at the hotel so cant comment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was a bit tired and room quite small. But we looked for a cheap hotel so you cant expect luxury. Adequate for our needs i.e. some where to sleep after sight seeing.
