This hotel is perfectly located for the business travellers. It's just far enough away from the town centre to walk in Great friendly staff.

Good location

Stayed here for a night out in Windsor. It's close to the town centre. Slightly annoyed the car park was full but found local parking that wasn't too expensive.

Pros: Proximity to the Windsor centre, and a direct line of sight on the Heathrow approach flight path means an easy navigation home.
Cons: Lack of a minifridge is still a cultural difference I can'tt get used to - where do the British tourists keep their overnight drinks?
Location: Windsor castle, Legoland, and the Windsor shopping district
It's an easy walk up to the Windsor Castle area, main mall, retail and food stores. An easy bus ride (about an hour on a Saturday) from Heathrow, short walk to a bus stop, and a comfortable waypoint stay. The rooms were conducive to work for space for a laptop, and a surprising amount of space to move - (dare say you could unpack a suitcase without having to stand in it) The place is quite soundproof - this location is directly under a flight path, and whilst you can stand outside and enjoy the once a minute cascade of aircraft, you really don't notice it indoors. The approach path is really handy for navigating your way home from mall - just follow the planes upstream to the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially to lost and jetlagged tourist types.

Really good

Posted Sep 29, 2016
Stayed as visited Windsor castle which was about 10-15 mins walking distance so really near. Parking facilities at £12 per day (let us park from 11am day we arrived until 2 next day which was fine) . Would have been much more if we'd parked Any nearer to castle. Staff really helpful and all very pleasant. Asked for an ironing board and one was delivered to our room immediately. Continental breakfast which also included scrambled eggs, bacon , beans and sausages.

A Convenient Place

The hotel was nice and just in the right location for our stay. Quite expensive for what you received and the cleaning was not brilliant.

Good choice of hotel in very convenient position within 5 minutes of M4 and only a 10 minute walk from the centre. Comfortable room but limited storage space so ok for short stay. Excellent breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff.

Usual holiday inn- good location, hotel average.

Pros- 10-15 mins walk to bars restaurant castle. Good size room. Cons- noise from main rd if you are at front even with windows closed, ask when check in for not front if you can. Also noise between floors I.e room above just walking around sounds v loud. Doors are self slamming not self closing so cleaners or other people in adjacent rooms will shake whole room. Breakfast ends 9 30 wkdays, cereals, couple pastries, fruit and yoghurt, tea and coffee. Hot food- scrambled Eggs(possibly powdered eggs), sausage, bacon, beans toast nothing more. Parking- go on google maps and check very nearby rds other side of the big roundabout nearby- some not restricted, says on here £12 a day to park in their car park...save you a bit. Nearly £100 a night really you should get better quality, would stay but further out at a manor house hotel and get a cab into windsor if I stayed again. Staff were very friendly though, no room service but chap was decent and bought it up anyway maybe just because was a dessert. Again, for £100 a night should have these facilities including maybe a bath.
