Friendly hotel, well maintained, restaurant is OK.

A little remote from the main areas, but friendly and warm greeting and a good size room.
Restaurant had a reasonable choice, but do not expect top quality. Prices in the restaurant and bar are a little high for the quality provided. (Fish and Chip shop across the street for budget protection. :-))
However, £76 for non refundable room for two including breakfast is a good price in the area.
The pool is not new but well maintained and big enough to enjoy a swim.
There is another Holiday Inn franchise at junction 10 on the motorway which is a higher standard and newer property, but also slightly higher price. On the day we stayed three people had confused the two properties when booking. This one is Junction 11.
Enjoyed the stay, but for the difference in price I would use the other property by preference.
