this hotel is more of a conference centre /campus

Pros: the food was excellant, just the meal times
Cons: Would be difficult as the complex is based on student (mature and young) population as there are so many courses ongoing
Location: close to Royal ascoy and ideally situated for the area
This complex is a very large campus like centre, spread over acres of very nice park land. It is not like a conventional hotel in that the rooms can be over a quarter of a mile from the facilities, and also the timing of the meals are based on course start and finish times, breakfast finishes prompt at 9.00am evening dinner at 9.00pm. There is not a nice bar area to have a evening drink as it is an underground sports type bar aimed at campus visitors as opposed to leisure hotel users.

Pros: Its proximity to Longcross film studios
Cons: The windows, the heating system, the TVs, the water pressure in the showers....
I only stay at this hotel as it is less than 10 minutes from Longcross Film studios, where I sometimes work, and I only stay if I can find a deal which means it costs less than £60 a night as I don't think it is worth paying any more than this for the rooms. The rooms are in need of renovation and the TVs are terrible, you barely get more than 6 channels and the reception isn't even any good. The bathrooms are generally clean but are free of any useful lighting and depending on what floor you are on, the water pressure can be bad. I stayed there 3 nights this week, one night I returned to find no hand towel, the next night 3 hand towels and no bath towel?!....never pay more than £80 for a room or you will be disappointed.....

Safe and very affordable option, with plenty of parking. Bathrooms a little dates but do the job with modern comfortable bedroom.

Very sprawled out. Long walk to my room. Old style key, so remember to lock your door on leaving. No A/C. Radiator was off. Only a shower. It was like being in halls of residence I wouldn't return

Good for short stays

My son and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, it was basic and clean but just what we needed as we were out early each morning. We didn't stay for food in the hotels restaurant as we thought it a little expensive compared to what we're used to. The tea and coffee facilities within the room we're just what we needed after a long day, but a little more sugar and milk would have been great. It's just a shame you have to have a car to find your room as ours was around the back and it's not a short distance but you do get a lovely look a the gorgeous grounds.

Ordered a twin room but was made up as a double when we arrived. Only realised we couldn't shut the window when we went to bed. This became a major problem later when a number of very loud and drunk people were running around the gardens and arguing. Reception were slow to sort this out and lead to bad nights sleep
