Good value
The rate was under $100; I did not expect the hotel to be so clean and quiet. The breakfast consists of multiple choices of bread, eggs, sausages, cereal, coffee and two juices----all good. The elevator is jerky when it stops, works fine.

Not for humans! Full of Rats!
It was the worst place ever! There was noone in the reception and the room keys were just lying on with my name. When I went to the room there were 3 huge rats running around. I come from India but even there we would have a better accomodation at this price. Horrible experience, there was no one to complain and I just left the hotel after waiting an hour to reach the management. Avoid it!

Dear guest, thank you very much for your review. Please note that our reception is covered 24 hour a day. It is not a practice at our hotel that we leave keys for arriving guests on the front desk. Our night receptionist was present the whole night and it appears that you never arrived at the hotel, but instead were charged the no-show fee. Please note that we have regular controls by external contractors and can therefore confidently say that it is highly unlikely that you see any animals, and especially not 3 of them, in the bedroom or in fact anywhere in the hotel. Excellent choice in Berlin
Excellent choice, room was clean and big. Bathroom is also good. Near to the subway (10 mins walk) - 15 mins to Friedrichstrasse St. Neighborhood is calm and there it supermarket and restaurants.

No Wifi
The room was advertised as coming with free wifi. This was very important to me. However, when I got to the room it was very clear that there was no wifi in the room. The man at the desk tried to pretend like it must be broken and there was nothing he could do, but I don’t believe him. There was no mention of wifi or the password anywhere in the room

Room was too small. In three nights stay, hotel didn't change the towels. Water was dropping out from Toilet seat. Other then that it was great stay. Hotel staff was very friendly.

I thought there is air conditioning inside the room. But there was not. Have to open window. And its quite noisy. People and airplane noise. The hotel is near to airport. Stay because next day morning have to take airplane 5am. The pillow really not comfortable. Stay on Sunday. All the shops nearby close. Nothing to eat. Requested toothbrush from hotel dont have. Have to go to city to buy toothbrush. My next trip back to country also sunday. So booked another hotel near city.

This hotel is old and worn out. The bathroom was so small that you had to pull the shower curtain aside to sit on the toilet. The shower curtain dragged on the shower basin and I'm sure accumulated bacteria as the white curtain was gray on the bottom. The staff was friendly and tried to do what they could for you. It was basically a hotel near the airport.

It's a hotel near an airport, man.
Room is fine, bathroom a bit grim but if you're just staying there for the sake of a flight it's fine. Restaurants and Supermarkets nearby are not expensive. Near a key bus stop and underground station which can take you to Tegal Airport or the rest of Berlin.

An overnight stay in transit through TXL. Room was made up for 1 person and we had to locate addition pillow and quilt to make up bed. Fairly basic hotel, small room and a little dated, particularly the bathroom. Reception was friendly and helpful.

Decent hotel
I chose this hotel for its location. The room and bathroom were clean, which is all I can ask for. It was pretty warm in Berlin and there is no air conditioning so just a heads up. Next time I’ll ask for a fan!

The shower wall had black mildew in the grout between the tiles (Yuck!!). Needs a good dose of Pyrex and s scrum brush. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk at check out was extremely helpful. The room was warm/hot with no (apparent) air conditioning plus windows which did not open to let in cooler night air.
