Brilliant, really surprised.
Stayed here in Berlin and I have to admit, I’ve never stayed in a low cost hostel before so yes I was slightly apprehensive about what waited for us 😂 I needn’t have worried. check in was first class, young man (hearts fc supporter) was brilliant, rooms were excellent. For what we paid it was tremendous. Zero complaints at all. Will defo stay again.

É um hostel grande. As pessoas na recepção são educadas e atenciosas. Não são todas as camas que tem tomada perto da cama. O barulho é demais, dentro e fora do quarto, porque as camas fazem muito barulho. A ventilação é horrível no quarto. Eu esperava banheiros mais limpos

They did not offer us towels until after we had used our own wash clothes to bathe. Then we had to ask for towels. Didn’t know they would provide them. Should have been offered at check in. Their luggage storage area is out in the open and only available for a couple of hours. Noisy busy road with lots of construction. Sheets were clean.,beds were comfortable. Mold in shower curtains. Really load music in lobby at times. Some very loud walking in the halls during night but only temporary. Strict cancelation policy, no flexibility even about 4 weeks ahead.

Great hostel! Although breakfast price was way too high so bought breakfast elsewhere, and it looked like it was understaffed with the staff being overworked. One guy said he had only gotten 3 hours of sleep the night before. Great location, great prices, and clean! Will definitely come here again soon!

Very good location
This ended up being a good choice for what I wanted to do. At first I was disappointed that the location wasn't in the heart of any district, but.it ended up being very convenient to S-bahn and thus everything.

It was very nice to get to know everyone in my room, which made for easy friends when you're travelling solo. However, as a light sleeper, I struggled to sleep with 7 other people in the room and bed that squeal whenever someone moves. The staff was incredible, and the location cannot be beat. If you're a good sleeper, I would probably recommend this hostel.

Booked for two people but they only received a booking for one person, and after clearing it up during check in they tried to charge me again, however, at least the staff were friendly and made it work. The bathrooms were pretty dirty but the rooms were fine.

Hello and sorry for the confusion.Later we could pin down this problem to a failure in the Expedia automatic export.. which is now solved.The reception staff saw a 1 person booking where it was supposed to be 2 persons - but the price was the same - so it looked like a double charge,None of this was our problem and we could finally resolve this within a few days talking to all partners involved.Sorry again for the confusion..Tom

Not bad, but pricy for a hostel
It was expensive for a hostel. I think the area is more expensive (Berlin downtown) and I booked short notice, but I feel like it was over priced compared to other areas of Germany and for it being a hostel. Otherwise it was a bed for a night, but do not expect any more than that. They also require a deposit to be put down for the key cards, which I found odd. In all, it was good for the night, but I would be alot happier if it was the typical hostel price. I felt like I was paying for a hotel and got a bare bones hostel.

Very enjoyable stay!
Location was the best thing. Right in the centre, next to the New Synagogue, it’s within walking distance (about 10-minute walk) to anything in Berlin Centre, such as Alexanderplatz or Reichstag. It was a nice and calm place. The staff there were really friendly, always helping you in case of needing it. We were originally five, but due to personal reasons, one of the friends couldn’t make it, so when we informed the staff about this situation, they were completely ok with it (obviously they didn’t give the money back, but it was understandable as we informed on the day we got there). Breakfast is ok, worth it for 5€, as it’s a buffet, and you can eat as much food as you want, but it did lack a bit of choice to be honest, it included bread, jam, butter, cereals, yogurt, fruit and some orange juice. Although whenever you wanted you could have free coffee, tea, or water throughout the day, which was very generous. They have a happy hour which everyone really enjoyed! The WiFi works great, and kitchen facilities are good! The room was clean, bed sheets and towels provided, and quite spacious. But be aware cleaning staff do enter throughout the day, which we were not informed about and really didn’t want them to. The bathroom facilities were not bad, but could have been better, as the two showers next to our bedroom didn’t work, so we had to go over to the other side, but they were clean, which is the main thing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Great location, decent prices, and lots of good perks like free towels and 5-euro breakfast buffet. I liked the high ceilings and courtyard for eating too. Relatively quiet street. No air conditioning, but things cooled down eventually when I opened the windows of my room

My bad experience
Unfortunately my experince was bad at the hostel. I booked for private room and there is no toilette in the room and regarding this there was no sign on the booking page!! In the morning of course toiletts are full and busy!! If I would know that I would not book with them. The bed was uncomfortable. Even I booked private room and paid lot of money I have to make my bed myself!! There was so much noise in the night, in the morning, during the night.. It was impossible to sleep!! I was all the time tired :(( Also wifi doesn not work at the rooms either :(( It sucks! So I am not satisfied with this booking.

Nice secure and comfy hostel near public transpor.

It was nice stay
I don't usually stay hostel any more, but it was good and I can stay here again. You can have a locker to secure your luggages, also you can lock and use whole bath room so that you can have some privacy in there. One improvement point is, reception is too crowded and should have two when there is a line.

There are better options but this is not bad.
The hostel was ok, a bit hard to get to but once you're explained how to move around is quite easy. All the top bunks were very bent and used the metal mesh broken which felt unsafe for bottom-bunkers. Also people smoke on the inner courtyard and if you open your window (no a/c) you get smoked out. The rest was good.

Great for the first-timers
I left my country to visit Berlin by myself. It was a fantastic experience and I don't regret that I went alone. It was really easy for me to get there from the SXF "flughafen" and once I got to the hostel, I felt really welcome by the staff. Rooms are really OK, bathrooms too. I walked over 50km in 3 days, but that's only because I love doing the sightseeing this way, most of the attractions are really close. If you're not a fan of long walk, the friedrichstrasse station is really close. I loved it

Perfectly placed, central hostel in Mitte
Very easy transportation from both airports TXL & SXF, right next to oranienburgerstraße s-bahn station and the great bars and eateries in the area, a couple of stations away from the main ring of the transport system on one side, and alexanderplatz on the other. There's a bit of a H2G2 theme throughout the hostel, brilliantly thought out artwork all over the place. Our room had a shower and a sink this time, they were well placed and the sink unit doubles up as a modesty screen to stop you getting the full frontal from your roommate. The option of communal showers in the corridors is there, and they are well maintained and kept very clean. That's right folks, people have respect for each other and the facilities they use here :) double plus good No beer or cooking in the rooms - fantastic idea, their bar downstairs is very competitively priced (though could do with a schwartzbier ;) ) and for the most parts the residents are pretty friendly - and the lounge is very comfortable. Very eclectic mix of music depending on who's on the bar/counter, heard everything from litfiba to pink floyd to new age mixes. Our room was above the bar/reception and was so well insulated that we couldn't hear anything from the bar after the tough decision to go and crash out was made. The pizza/pasta place on the corner is top notch food wise, and the silberfisch bar is across the road (legendary). This is an absolutely awesome place and I will definitely be back next year

Convenient and clean hostel
This hostel was catered towards student travellers, so we were worried the rooms would be quite noisy at night. The common areas did get a little noisy, but generally after 11pm it was quiet. The rooms were clean and there are lockers provided to keep your belongings safe. The communal bathrooms were quite clean, however, it depended on who lived in the hostel at the time (we were lucky as everyone seemed to keep the common areas clean).

I've never stayed in a hostel before and I don't think I will again. Although I was not suspicious of anyone in my room. I still did not like having to lock up my stuff.
