Good hotel and excellent staff!

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Excellent and very modern hotel - the staff really made the stay worth while! It's worth paying for breakfast with the room as the food was brilliant. Only downside was the room was quite noisey (we were on the lower floor above a back service entrance) and the smell of ciggerate smoke came into the room from people smoking at the service entrance. Also the shower in the room was a little odd but appreciate they can't change this! All in all this is a fantastic hotel and well worth staying at, just ask for a room higher up and towards the front :)

Great value hotel with heaps of character

Pros: Friendly staff, well appointed rooms, great restaurant, easy access to public transport
Cons: Indiividual air conditioning for the rooms
Location: Great neighbourhood of Berlin - wide range of restaurants and shopping
Had a great stay at Hotel Q - rooms are comfortable and the hotel has a great vibe, with a reasonably priced and delicious restaurant and bar serving modern Thai-inspired cuisine. Staff were helpful and friendly. Located in Charlottenberg, it's not really near the main tourist attractions of Berlin - however, the location is in the heart of a nice shopping/entertainment district, and is extremely well connected to public transport (as are most places in Berlin) by an S-bahn station at Savignyplatz and U-bahn at Uhlandstrasse, so it's a very quick ride into the main attractions. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, however those who are sensitive to noise/temperature should note that many hotels in Berlin (including this one) run centralised air conditioning which only works between certain temperatures - therefore you may end up having to leave the windows open all night, and Berlin can get quite noisy on weekend nights. (I visited in early summer - this wouldn't be a problem in winter!). But if this doesn't bother you, this is a great hotel and I highly recommend it - I would definitely stay again!

Very clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced and located close to s-Baun or underground. Nicely designed rooms, although a little small.

Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: This is a residential area, located off a commercial street, consisting of a healthy mix of cafes and restaurants as well as high-end shopping.
Great location. Smiling, attentive and helpful staff. Outside bar service was a bit slow, but once we had their attention, they were again responsive and very nice. Rich breakfast buffet priced fairly. Room is great, spacious, comfortable and facing a quiet alley. Only caveat was in the design, making it hard to get out of bed for the 2nd person.

Clean, slick, modern hotel.

We stayed in Berlin at Hotel Q! for four nights and enjoyed it. The location felt very central and safe with a few good eateries nearby, although more options would've been available in other areas. The main shopping strip is just around the corner so that was great, but once the shops close, there isn't too much else to do. Best to venture out.

Pros: Room, location, staff.
Location: It's in Charlottenburg so expect to see plenty of super cars as you sit outside enjoying a coffee.
Just back from our Berlin trip. We Stayed at Hotel Q by chance and were glad we did. The location and room were fantastic. The bath by the side of the bed was interesting but in a good way! Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Staff, amenities, design, restaurant
Cons: No suggestions

Welcoming staff, quiet neighborhood with numerous cafes, restaurants, and shopping options within walking distance. Two different metro lines are also just blocks away. A great place from which to explore Berlin.
