A beautiful hotel in a great area. Being on the West side of the Tiergarten it is off the tourist route but is still right in the heart of things. It is well served for U and S Bahn stations, shops, cafes and bars and you can definitely eat and drink in places along with the locals and be the only tourists there. The hotel itself is really nicely designed. The bar is separately run and is a real hotspot on Saturday nights with a DJ playing. We were lucky and squeezed onto a table in between bookings but I would definitely recommend booking if staying at the weekend, even of you are only looking to have one drink. We didn't use the restaurant at all as had not booked breakfast or meals but there was so much choice both locally and elsewhere that we just didn't need to use it. We did have some room service though and it was tasty and not too expensive. For us, this was a special occasion hotel so we are unlikely to stay here in the future but it is really great, could design and lovely staff so never say never...

Unfriendly staff combined with terrible manager. Room amenities are low quality, They do not supply even cotton pads.they have only maison margiela towels. VIP benefit is only soft drinks. Room were dirty. There were no sign about information related Grace Bar. If someone organize a private event, you should inform your hotel guests! I was too tired and want to dine in Grace ; but there were private event without any infos. There is also no written information; breakfast is 42,5 Euro per person. Stay away this scam.

I’m too sexy for your business.. this should be the title of this hotel. Yes it’s clean but if you want excellent service hmm nope not here. They say the first impression & last impression stick with you & my checkin and checkout fell extra short of anything good. At checkin the bellhop who took my bags stood over the receptionist to know all my private business & how much I was paying. At checkout the same thing happened but this time I asked the man to kindly step away so I could pay my bill with some privacy. Then when the receptionist asked how my long stay was (I stayed at the hotel for almost 3 weeks) I mentioned that it was frustrating that the hotel made it extra hard for guests to spontaneously get a table at the hotel restaurant & that it would be amazing if they could always have one or two tables always available to guests who wanted to be spontaneous about their dinner plans. Well when I mentioned this the other receptionist who had nothing to do with our conversation jumped right in & started shouting at me loudly “well you should have a plan & make a reservation those are the rules & you should be more organized”. I asked her if this was how they treated all their customers or only the ones that are not celebrities or models. She again shouted at me in a very nasty tone to plan more. On the up side it’s literally right in the middle of everything in the west, so if you like shopping hustle & bustle & daily parties in the lobby it’s a great location. 3 stars.

I really like this hotel, the location is perfect for getting the most out of a Christmas trip to Berlin. The hotel is beautiful on the inside and the rooms are top notch. It's a shame that there is a heavy security presence inside the hotel near the lifts in the evening, because of a ctivity happening at the hotel bar. It's very disconcerting to try and get to your room and having to go past bouncers to get there. Also disappointed that no room rates included breakfast, which had been offered in the past. Breakfast was not offered or even mentioned upon check-in so we had breakfast outside the hotel every day.

Unusual and comfy
Decor was very ecclectic . Wacky. Individual. Not what you expect from a standard hotel. Eg. Flashing lightbulbs from papparazzi when you enter the lift. Night club or restaurant very noisy friday and saturday. I was never offered a room upgrade even though i have vip access.
