Great base to explore Berlin from

Posted Nov 8, 2016
Pros: Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Room cleanliness but this was more due to co-occupants than the staff
Location: Close to the east side gallery and to Warschauer Straße station. Also very close to the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Plenty of restaurants nearby also.
It's location is great near to the Eastside Wall Gallery and beside a transport hub. Made getting around city really easy.

Good for me, as my first time in a hostel

Posted Sep 5, 2016
The place is located close to many bars and night clubs. But you have to use the transportation system to go to museum island. There are lots of immigrants and poor people in the area which was odd for me, but they don't hurt others.

Nice hostel close to public transport

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: the staff was very nice and helpful, there were enough showers
Cons: there always something that could be improved but for the price....
Location: many bars and restaurants of all types, Asian, Mexican, French, etc. to go to
altough it was 45 minutes from Central Bus station, I appreciate that it was closed to many small restaurants, shops and grocery.

Berlin solo traveler

Posted Jun 26, 2014
I was very surprised by this hostel. This was the first time in a hostel for me and i was some what anxious. Firstly all the staff spoke very good English, this is not normally a priority for me but it was nice to be able to fully unwind at the hostel after a long day of broken German and numerous hand gestures and mime. The rooms where very tidy clean and fresh looking, the furniture was well kept and generally throughout, the hostel was modern. Many things are available to borrow for the desk at a small surcharge or deposit which is handy when traveling light! The toilets are clean and the shower rooms are large an never full so there was no waiting to wash! I didn't use the kitchen much but i had a look and it was well stocked with appliances and had a large table where many can sit and eat. The hostel is in a great location, just 100meters to the train station and 100 meters again in the opposite direction to the east side gallery. There are also many places to eat locally, and even only 20 minutes walk to Alexandaplatz (where there are many MANY things to see and do!) My stay was extremely pleasant and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone. One thing i would like to make people aware of is that the generally customer at this hostel is quite young (16-25) and therefore has times when it can be quite noisy after a night out, the train also passed the hostel and can be heard at night, however if you take some ear plugs you will have no troubles!

Great clean hostel

Posted Jan 12, 2014
Great clean hostel with perfect room size. It is quite a way out from all the touristy things but a great area if you want to get away from that. Only downfall the staff could have been more helpful in knowing about tours etc

Great hostel for travellers.

Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: cheap price, good location, very clean
Location: near to transport links, tourist attractions and nightlife
Stayed for 3 nights (Monday 29th July - Thursday 1st August) and the hostel was brilliant! Right next to the metro, bus stops, and both S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations. Within walking distance of tourist attractions such as East Side Gallery and good nightlife such as Suicide Circus and Watergate. Also on the same road is a big supermarket which is open 24 hours (I think! - we went during the day and at 3am and it was still open). The staff were always friendly and helpful and the rooms, showers and toilets were always clean, there were also plenty of shared showers and toilets on each floor - I didn't have to wait at all. They charge extra for WiFi in your room but the lobby and bar area has free WiFi. The kitchen had a lot of space and utensils to use.

Nice but HOT hostel

Posted Jul 30, 2013
It's a great location right by public transport and the rooms are a good size with lockers to keep the important things safe, but there are no fans, no air conditioning and the windows do not open enough to get a breeze. Stale, hot, humid air for the air.

Brilliant for a lads trip

We went away for a lads weekend and only really needed somewhere to sleep so for what we needed it was fine. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. No complaints what so ever.
