Hot Hot Hot

Posted Sep 20, 2016 on Hotels
The room receives direct sunlight the whole day and there is no air condition and the blackout curtains were not blackout. It was 30 degrees in berlin which meant the room was VERY hot the whole day and most of the night. The hotel does not provide fans for the room wither. So you sleep and sweat...not a good combination. This hotel is ok for when the temperature is below 20, but i would avoid it during the warmer months of the year.

Avoid in the warm summer nights

Posted Jun 27, 2016 on Hotels
no air conditioning and lack of air flow with the windows open. This is no surprise as many hotels don't offer air conditioning in Europe. But when it's a hot night and the windows don't open very much, it's difficult to be comfortable. We left soon after check in because we wanted to sleep. Other than that I think it would be a nice place to stay.

Basic room, but clean and easy, good location, good value for a short stay.

Dirty

Posted May 15, 2016 on Hotels
The room was tidy, like someone had attempted to clean it, but filthy nevertheless. The headboard of the bed had sweat marks from someone's back and the room reeked of cigarettes. The bathroom smelled bad, there was no soap in the soap dispensers and the toilet paper was half gone.

Ok, but look around the area for other choices too

Posted Feb 14, 2014 on Hotels
The stay was ok. The hotel is tiny, very close to the Underground station U2. Depending on the availability, there may be better deals around the area, so make sure to check them. The hotel itself ok. Small and clean.

Inexpensive, and a quick bus ride to city center.

Posted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Surrounded by food. Great breakfast in the morning in a nice built-in restaurant floor down stairs. Good location.
Cons: It's an obviously low-end hotel. Dumpy room, but adequate for the job.
Location: Good restaurant to the right as you go out the door, a food market, sandwich shops. The M49, the 100,200 bus lines run past, straight to city center.

The hotel was spartan but clean. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. They had a nice buffet breakfast. It was located close to the subway and the bus stop.

Nice but very noisy

Posted Apr 1, 2013
Got to Berlin and there was no water in this hotel. So, was transferred to another nearby which was quite noisy from 6.00am until the end of breakfast
