Stay away!
Absolutely disgusted! Booked months ago for a Christmas market trip. On arrival we were informed that there was no bar or restaurant service just bed & breakfast. I had checked Hotels.com a couple of days before to see the situation re covid as things are constantly changing. I found that the Spa and Pool would be closed but no mention of anything else. On checking in the hotel informed us that as the hotel group had now been sold things were being allowed to run down prior to new owners taking over. They also informed us the the free beverage we were entitled to was the bottled water in our room. I just feel ripped off! I booked and paid for a stay in a full facility 5 star hotel which in fact was no better than a 3 star bed & breakfast. Nobody updated me as regards the current situation so my opportunity to find a more suitable accommodation was denied. When I mentioned all this to the hotel they laid the blame totally with Hotels.com. I have booked with Hotels.com for many years and have never and any problems whatsoever with them. After all it’s the hotel that provides the service and in this instance it’s the hotel that failed to provide the advertised service.
