Great place to stay in Berlin, especially if you have business at the nearby University. The courtyard is quiet, the breakfast decent, the rooms feel clean and contemporary. There is an excellent Laundry Room, a cool gym, and a fast elevator. Reception is only from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, not 24 hrs. We would definitely come back!

I know I will do no justice to this place when I make a review, but let's try. First things first: I had never ever been to Berlin. I got off the subway, took the S9 subway line and got off at Zoologischer Garten station in less than an hour, and navigation showed me a pretty straight route to the hotel. I found it like I knew the whole city. I stayed at the Balcony Suite. The suite was gorgeous. With a king sized bed, a very nice dining setting that provided every utensil you'd need to cook or heat your food. And then, as someone who LOVES to drink, I was informed that the first round of the mini bar was totally complimentary... Then also found a nespresso machine with a couple of coffee capsules at hand, and the best potato chips I've ever had in my life... The shower was another thing. All the beauty products placed in the bathroom -the shampoo, the shower gel, body lotion...- all were from high class brands. I loved one in particular and wished it was also sold in my country! I easily managed the shower arrangements with the heads and also loved the warmth level of the water. It was around 9-10 degrees when I stayed, but the heaters worked pretty well and fine. I never felt cold. I was never disturbed in the peace of my room. And the area was super safe, the hotel was pretty quite. I LOVE this experience and I'll definitely stay here again if I ever come to Berlin. Thanks for everything!

The property is centrally located with easy access to trains amd transportation. It has many wonderful restaurants within walking distance, along with grocery stores and other amenities. There is also a quiet Courtyard off their restaurant which is a nice place to sit and relax, although it is only accessible when the restaurant is open. Be aware if you are there when the weather is hot, there is no AC, only a ceiling fan, so it can get a little warm. The staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived late, after hours, but all instructions were clearly laid out ahead of time. Checking in and out was quick and easy. We would most definitely stay here again.
