Pros: Staff and location
Cons: I would suggest putting in newer appliances and cabinets in Kitchen over time. They are very old and outdated.
Location: fine
Hotel was great. The bed was fantastic. The bathroom was nice quality. I thought the location to downtown was wonderful. It is on a nice and quiet street. Staff was outstanding!

There are much nicer guest houses in Bermuda.

Looks like a roadside motel with slightly nicer landscaping. Bermuda has much more to offer.

Poor hotel for business

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: It was available and less expensive than others on the island.
The initial impression on check in was less than favourable with what could be best described as informal, but didn't overwhelm from a service perspective. The hotel has poor internet access, no desk and little in the way of convenient power points. The rooms themselves are olde Bermuda. The onsite facilities in terms of shop etc are not great with little available for those ariving in the evening. The outdoor furniture on the balcony was also showing its age.

Comfortable and convenient

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: We liked Rosemont's attractive setting, its comfortable, clean accommodations, its equipped kitchenette, its furnished patio, and its breakfasts.
Cons: The leak under the shower door could be fixed, if it is possible. But we don't see this is a major issue.
Location: One can comfortably walk to restaurants, shops, buses and ferries in Hamilton; the latter two provide convenient access to most sights in Bermuda.
For an older couple who prefer sightseeing and walking about town to sports and lying on the beach, Rosemont Guest Apartments was the perfect base for 9 days in Bermuda. Every morning, we got coffee, muffins and yogurt from the hotel lobby, usually bringing them to our room and patio. Then, after a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown Hamilton, we would catch a bus or ferry to get to our chosen destination for the day. Or, we would visit sights in Hamilton. In the evening, we would eat in one of Hamilton's many restaurants, and once again, we would have an enjoyable walk back to our apartment. Had we wanted to, we could have used the swimming pool which was just outside our patio. From our patio, we could see rooftops and palms, sloping down towards the waterfront. We could also have cooked in the little kitchen in our apartment. As we bought snacks and drinks at the grocery store, we did make good use of the refrigerator and the dishes and glassware provided. We actually had minimal contact with the hotel staff and owners. As we tend to keep to ourselves, this suited us very well. What contact we did have, was pleasant and professional. The hotel and area were generally very quiet; on only a couple of occasions did we hear voices from the next room. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the apartment was kept beautifully clean. Only the shower door leaked a bit, but this was a minor annoyance. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Rosemont.
