Great place to stay and eat.Posted Oct 11, 2016
Location: Hotel was between both access points into town. Great hiking trails in every direction.
Large comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking the street with breathtaking views of the mountains. Great breakfast each morning at a table reserved for you. The dinner we had there was the best of our 3 day stay. Staff was very friendly.

Nice quite stay.Posted Oct 7, 2015 on Hotels
We enjoyed our stay here. It was only a short walk from the cable station and not to much further the other direction to the train station. The rooms were well kept and clean. The owners and staff are only too willing to help. Dinners at the restaurant was lovely and I would suggest the home made lasagne. Overall it was a nice quite stay.

Nice traditional swiss hotelPosted Aug 17, 2015
Cons: More comfortable beds
Location: Hiking, hiking and hiking. Beautiful views from many places in the village
Cosy swiss hotel in the middle of the village with the best food in town according to the locals. We ate dinner here twice- very good. Great buffet breakfast. No elevator but the staff carries luggage upstairs. Great ambiance. The small supermarket is right across the street in this small, no cars allowed village. Tip for hiking, borrow walking sticks from the hotel, located by the front door. We were so happy we did when we did the 3.5 hour hike down Schilthorn.

Great hotel in quiet car-less town with fantastic mountain views (if weather cooperates)!
