Rooms are tiny, nothing like the photos.

No fire place and the dinning room is nice when you look up at it, but dingy otherwise.

Very Old hotel with a Very Rude Indian Reception Manager. Just kept on gossiping his personal issue without paying attention to the guests.. We booked 3 room through Hotel.com but he find out only 2 rooms .. Another one he couldnt provide.. Even rooms were not ready even after 2 hrs of proper the check in time .. We just left this disgusting hotel .

We were desperate for a place to stay, since it was already 8pm. Knowing that we had to be on the road by 7am, we chose a cheaper place. We were expecting 'no frills' but did not expect grungy, smelly and loud. This place caters to tour groups, so I guess they don't care about the stained cloth chairs in the room, of that the entire hotel smells of old Chinese food. Breakfast was scheduled to open at 7, but when the dining room and front desk were both still dark at 7, we rang the desk bell. Apparently that woke up the kid who set up breakfast. I will compliment him on his ability to put everything out within a few minutes, but we shouldn't have had to wait until 7:15 to get some breakfast.

First visit to Interlaken

Carpet on floor 3 needs replaced. Curtains in room did not cover windows completely. Desk clerk had to stay over because of my late arrival at 9:30 pm. The price of the room was good. Breakfast was very good. Size of room was too small and bathroom was much too little.
