This property ruined our honeymoon. My wife and I both got food poisoning from the hotel food, which killed an entire 48 hours. Tennis courts are in disrepair, no available pros, no new balls or rackets, no tennis ball machine. Half the resort is undergoing maintenance. It is impossible to leave the hotel in a safe manner, unless you pay for the BMW service (which we were willing to do- was unavailable most of the time). The third party car service that the hotel offers as an alternative is unprofessional, unsafe, and unsanitary. Because of renovations, the entire salon was moved to a single room, with an unprofessional an un-attentive staff member running it. It was abundantly clear that the massage therapists at the spa are not trained in any way - experienced the single worst massage of my life here. There were two staff members that made the experience worse due to their flagrant unprofessionalism: 1) Kanika - a “junior manager” of the property. Three days before we left we brought up the safety concerns with the transportation. She apologized and told us she would have a resolution for us the following day. Not only was there no resolution, she didn’t even reach out with an update. 2) Arushi - the property manager who thought a $250 discount (on a $5K USD trip) would make up for the disappointments. She tried nickel- and diming us on our way out, and had the gall to ask us to return to the property. Expedia allows 1500 char, but there were many more problems.

We were sorry to learn about the experience with transport, and as you rightly mentioned, this is part of our third-party services, We have noted your points regarding the Spa experience, though, and have addressed this directly with the teams. Wonderful stay, beautiful property. The staff were always very helpful and attentive. I wish there were more dining options, but the property is under renovation, so I’m sure there will be improvements soon.

The overall service was exceptional. The resort felt like a getaway with curated services for our needs. The seaside grill and spa services were fabulous. We had lunch 3 times at the same restaurant and two days of spa services. The breakfast set-up was wonderful. This resort felt like a vacation.

Beautiful beach resort in South Goa with a golf course, immaculately maintained gardens and access to one of the cleanest and most serene beach in Goa. Courteous and attentive staff who take every effort to make guests feel special was impressive. Italian and Pan Asian food in their signature restaurants was exceptional. The North-Indian fare has much to improve considering they are based out of India! Beware of loud and brash weddings in the resort that take away the calmness of a stroll by the beach or the untouched serenity of a sunset which are the soul of a South Goan Beach. To best enjoy this gem of a St. Regis resort in India, it is best to check first with the front desk about scheduled weddings and avoid those days.

Taking into account the accommodation, the service, the location and the setting, this is the best hotel I have stayed in. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully planted. The beach is gorgeous and the pool is lovely. Eating and drinking at the resort is expensive but there are many restaurants nearby that are more reasonable.

Very poor service and staff.. worse experience.. would not recommend to anyone… you order them food, keep on waiting in your room and leave the hotel without having food as hotel does not care to serve you and leave the hotel like this. You should go there if you wish to make your vacation worse. And don’t plan to enjoy your special day here as the services and staff will make your day worse. They will not give you free upgrade even after being an Expedia gold member instead they will ask you extra cost for upgrade… they just need money don’t care about your feelings and emotions with which you have come to spend your days in their property and paid huge dollars for this trip. Guys rather opt for Oberoi property as they are really accommodating for upgrades just on request and they will do everything to make your special day memorable…

Very poor service.. leela has become more like a marriage place and not a fit if you plan to relax on your vacation and have some peaceful moments with your loved ones. Again above that, the staff will make your vacation worse with their poor services. No upgrade given even after being an Expedia gold member, straight away denial. They want you to pay for the upgrade even if I am eligible to get it at no cost. I have stayed at Oberoi properties many a times. They make your day special as soon as they get to know the occasion. Oberoi even gives you free upgrade just on request. In Leela Goa we had Super delayed deliveries, staff forgetting your requests, restaurant fully packed with marriage guests, orders coming in a hour or even later, worse housekeeping not at all a 5 star level. They don’t care if you have come to celebrate your special day here, they don’t care at all. Never expected such a pathetic service and experience from Leela property. Would never like to visit here again.

The stay was overall very nice. Except a little discomfort at the time of check in and initially at the time of dinner. The resort is widely spread. The F&B Managers were polite and kind to us and tried utmost to fullfill our requirements. Special thanks to Mr. Vimal from the Restaurant Management for his hospitality. Few of thr resort facilites seem obsolete and need upgradation. Restaurants lack vegetarian options. Hence, vegetarians would have a hard time having food at the resort.

The property is immaculate, the facilities are top - the variety of food definitely has room for improvement - the pool was always enticing, buggy availability was impressive - breakfast and lunch buffets were ok - but the staff handled the requests of the more demanding ‘privileged’ guests / brats well and ensured that all were looked after and comfortable!

Anytime at Leela is a Great Time
It is always a pleasure staying at this property. I don’t remember how many times we have stayed at Leela Goa and every time it does not fail to impress us. Most serene and clean it is a small ecosystem in its own. You don’t need to get out of the property to know Goa in it’s true sense. Good food, good beach, good water sports. May be it is time for them to do away with LCD TVs and Boss iPod dock and get LED 4K and some great Bluetooth speakers for the rooms.

It’s an amazing property, well run and should be relaxing. However no other guests were wearing masks despite the hotel’s policy to do so. Also had problems with dining service and food since they rely heavily on just setting up a buffet, when ordering from a menu the wait staff would deliver cold food. Also the ‘chef’ at the beachfront during lunch could not clean or prepare fresh prawns properly. So was disappointing. Management was nice in solving but they should focus on prevention.
